Quite dark brown, hazy, strong creamy lasting tan head. Aroma is of chocolate, caramel and roasted malt with some small amount of sourness. Taste is medium sweet caramel, decent amount of chocolate, bread, roasted finish and again some sourness. Low+ herbal bitterness. Medium bodied, moderate+ carbonation. Thereís a certain amount of "dirtiness" and sourness which is not entirely pleasant. Although some bottles can be less sour...

50cl bottle at Tolkien House pours a murky deep brown with lots of creamy, off white head. Nose has toast, brown bread, mild grains of Paradise, some tree bark. Flavor is true to style, dried biscuit, toasted brown bread, some yeast, light cocoa powder. Dry finish.

Bottle. Pours clear hazel, large puffy tan head, dissipates slowly, good lacing. Aroma is light, roasty, a bit smoky, grain. Flavor is light sweet, a bit smoky, roasty, hints of coffee, light bitter, some acidity, a touch sour. Medium body, high carbonation. Not sure I get the high ratings for this one.

Bottle at Buzz Bar. Deep brown body with a medium beige head. Light lacing. Aroma of burnt toast scrapings, raisins and fig. Flavour of chocolate, orange, ash and yeast. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. Straightforward but tasty.

500 ml bottle @ Glam Cafe, Dubrovnik. Pours a black colour with a small firm off-white head. Aroma of mild sourness, coffee and grass. Flavour of roastiness, mild sourness, grassy bitterness and rather strong earthiness. Medium bodied. A bit foamy mouthfeel. Decent enough. I donít think the sourness is intentional, but itís not overwhelming. I gave it a 3.0 at this point. Funny thing happens as the beer warms up a bit. Dark chocolate and stronger coffee notes run over the sourness. No more foamy mouthfeel either. Good stuff, but challenging if you only tick a standard Danish tick size of this beer. Raised 3.0 to 3.3

Dark brown with beige head. Highly drinkable, the best one from the producer. Aroma of the woods and leaves. Some coffee hints. Bitter finish and very smooth. Complex taste in the very nice bottle.
