2.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 agillespie81 (315) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAR 19, 2009Hazy brown color...slightly opaque. Thin head. Aroma is floral, with just a touch of sweetness...very well balanced. Malty sweet flavor up front. Mouthfeel is a tad crisp. Watered down hop bitterness blends into the back...finish has somewhat of a citrus tang. Quite a well intentioned brew, though definitely a little weak for the style.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 hayduke (2963) - Eureka, California, USA - MAY 6, 2013
From a Beer of the Month Club selection given to me by a member. Poured from the 12 oz bottle a hazy amber with an off-white head. Nose of caramel malts and grassy hops. Medium body. Flavor shows some dark ripe fruit, and some of the floral hops. Finish has a touch of chocolate. Reasonably good drinking.
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Aurelius (3457) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - APR 25, 2013
Sweet, caramel aroma, a little bock-malty , nice. Clear, dark woody color; OK label. Nice toast, grassy, moderately sweet, a twiggy bitterness. Medium body, slippery mouthfeel, average carbo. I liked the finish and maltiness. Enjoyed this. BOTM club selection, thanks Uncle Doug.
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 akoeninger (168) - Wisconsin, USA - MAR 12, 2013
Red brown, sweet smelling. Not very bitter. Caramel tasting with some toast and grass hops. Mayhem a bit too sweet for the style, but a very good tasty, malty beer.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 theisti (2843) - Leawood, Kansas, USA - OCT 25, 2012
12 oz bottle purchased as part of a mix a six at the Festival in Onalasaka, Wisconsin. The pour is a clear golden amber with a two inch light tan head. The head is lasting, falls with nice lace. The aroma is caramel malt, some plum, and a bit of a dustiness. The taste is the sweet caramel malt throughout, with a bit of grass and hay in the middle, and mineral in the back. As the beer warms, the mineral gets a dirty earthy edge to it. The palate is medium to light bodied, very low carbonation, and the slightly dirty dry finish. The dry finish does help to cut the sweetness. Just OK.

Pours a cloudy amber, with nose of caramel, dark fruits, and nuts. A little sweet, but the flavors are good. Some sour cherries, raisins, and a chocolate caramel on the end. Pretty good!

Well, a mediocre beer from a less than mediocre brewery. Pretty much sums it up.
