Appearance: Pours a clear golden body with a small white head.
Smell: Faint aroma of toasted grains with an almonst indistinct floral hop scent.
Taste: Sweet, lightly-flavored maltiness and a soft, floral bitterness. Bland finish. That’s really all there is to it.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Moderate carbonation.
Drinkability: Wholly underwhelming.

Cool looking beer. A beautiful golden color with a small head it also had some moderate carbonation. Also, there were some unidentified things floating around. The aroma is of sweet malt. If this beer tastes as well as it looks and smells we have a winner! Well, nothing is perfect. The flavor is somewhat muddled. The commercial description says it has a "clean finish." Maybe that is admitting the beginning and middle are weak. It is kind of like the beautiful girl who has the really nasal voice. The mouthfeel is just too thin and the carbonation overpowers. Well, the finish was an improvement. Some citrus and honey flavors emerged. However, the dregs on the bottom of the glass was unnecessary.

12 oz bottle. Poured a clear light orange color. Head was thin and reduced almost immediately. My nose detected only a whiff of caramel and grassy hops. Light mixture of acidity and sweetness on the tongue. Malt dominated flavor of burnt caramel and toasted wheat bread. There were also some grassy hops and mild to moderate hop bitterness that peaked at 4 out of 10. Dry, grassy finish. Flashes of promise, but pretty blah.

UPDATED: JUL 30, 2009 12oz bottle. Thick, hazy golden-tan color. Big white head. Pretty attractive considering it’s advertised as their lightest offering. The aroma is sweet, with a touch of corn and vanilla. Very creamy, light to medium bodied. Quite refreshing, smooth finish. Certainly above par for your light offering, but has a slightly unclean taste that starts to pervade towards the end.

Hazy golden yellow with a thin white quickly fading head. Aroma of corn, sweet malts, lemon and grain. Taste of lemon, grain, barley and spicy. Somewhat of a spicy finish but fairly bland and thin otherwise.

(12 oz bottle: Obtained in trade with hopdog, thanks Steve!) Well, this doesn’t smell very pleasant. Lightly sweet, maybe some honey aroma, but really, it just smells like a cheap, grainy macro. Grainy and mildly sweet, but the moderate bitterness in the finish makes for a horrendous aftertaste. This may, in fact, taste worse than some macros. Light bodied, thin and watery. Pale golden color, fairly hazy in appearance, with a long-lasting, white head that doesn’t pour to a very tall height, but sure holds it well. And there’s plenty of patchy lacing on the glass too. Sure wish this beer tasted as good as it looks. And it’s not that this doesn’t taste good, it actually tastes bad. It’s offensive. It’s drain pour, that’s what it is.

Clear golden orange, white head of fine bubbles. Nose is nutty malts w/ a background of fruity yeast notes--quite nice, esp. for a light ale like this. Medium sweet w/ perhaps a bit overly vigorous carbonation but a smooth, creamy mouthfeel regardless. I am not sure quite what they are going for her but I think I’d put this in a catagory w/, say, Goose Island 312, a beer of generally APA-ish qualities but lighter and not as hoppy (not nearly as hoppy in this case). Finishes w/ a lingering tartness and some sticky floral sweetness. Good attempt at a blond but not quite there.

Pours a vibrant golden/orange colour with a medium sized white head. Plenty of carobnation, aroma is semi sweet of caramel and biscuity malts. Taste is relatively light as expected finishing off in a semi sweet honey flavor.

GLBF: Light body, thin. Some hoppyness at the finish. Malts are light. Not much going on, but rather a simple, nice beer...probably better suited for session!
