3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at GTMW. Poured cloudy, medium brown with a short cap of dark tan head. The aroma picked up sweet, warm black patent and chocolate maltage with forced sweet Port-like accents.. a touch of spice as well.. just OK. The flavor found toasty black, nutty, and chocolate malts at the core.. sweet cocoa and spicy peppery accents around.. sweet, somewhat boozy finish. Medium-bodied at the very most on the palate.. light-carbonation.. grainy.. OK balance.. not by any means offensive, but not a very good beer.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Looks like a mud puddle w/ no real head. Light touch of smoke hidden under a light milk chocolate like aroma... something complex that I can’t place that really did make me think mole. Avg palate. Flavor is first a mole a complex off chocolate hint of peanut butter tiny bit of smoke slightly sweet. I like it more than the ratings might indicate.. with a little less watery elements in the flavor this would be great.
