Easy-drinking sweet stout, typical but enjoyable. Worth trying once, though in the end itís not a go-to.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Breeze Thru. Pours very, very dark brown with nice foamy chocolate milk head leaving very little lacing. Aroma has oatmeal chocolate chip cookies, caramel and coffee. Taste is of sweet cocoa powder, caramel malt and some dark fruit. Quite thin. No oatmeal presence that I can discern in the flavor. Finishes sweet with a bit of bitterness, and short. Decent thin stout.

Heavy roasted malts and a hint of chocolate in the aroma. The flavor is malts, a mild/smooth sweetness from the oats and a fruity/tart finish.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from my friend Stefan. Mochaccino nose, lovely and bold, over a black-brown beer with neat tan head. Impression of milk chocolate sweetness before going dryer with dark chocolate and espresso, on a lively mouthfeel. Big flavor in a slim abv, I love that.

Bottle pours deep brown/black with a tan head. Aroma shows light roast, dark chocolate, and good dose of oatmeal. Flavor shows the same with a hint of coffee and light nuts. Overall body is moderate, soft, and finishes with a lightly roasted bitterness.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Very dark brown pour with a tan colored ringed head. Sweet chocolate aroma with some roasted malts. Palate is a little thin, but not bad. Taste is sweet chocolate and roasted coffee. Seems like it should play a little bigger than 4.5% ABV, but its a nice surprise that this is a highly sessionable beer that has this much depth and character in the aroma and taste. Very well done.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a deep dark chocolate color with a light brown head. The aroma of chocolate escapes the top of the glass. First sip reveals notes of chocolate and oats. This would be a great beer to drink during the cold winter months!
