Heavy roasted malts and a hint of chocolate in the aroma. The flavor is malts, a mild/smooth sweetness from the oats and a fruity/tart finish.

Bottle from my friend Stefan. Mochaccino nose, lovely and bold, over a black-brown beer with neat tan head. Impression of milk chocolate sweetness before going dryer with dark chocolate and espresso, on a lively mouthfeel. Big flavor in a slim abv, I love that.

Bottle pours deep brown/black with a tan head. Aroma shows light roast, dark chocolate, and good dose of oatmeal. Flavor shows the same with a hint of coffee and light nuts. Overall body is moderate, soft, and finishes with a lightly roasted bitterness.

Bottle. Very dark brown pour with a tan colored ringed head. Sweet chocolate aroma with some roasted malts. Palate is a little thin, but not bad. Taste is sweet chocolate and roasted coffee. Seems like it should play a little bigger than 4.5% ABV, but its a nice surprise that this is a highly sessionable beer that has this much depth and character in the aroma and taste. Very well done.

Pours a deep dark chocolate color with a light brown head. The aroma of chocolate escapes the top of the glass. First sip reveals notes of chocolate and oats. This would be a great beer to drink during the cold winter months!

35cl bottle from a friend. Thick creamy off-white head. Deep amber pour. Pretty nice but could do with being more chocolatey

This beer is really pretty decent, but still nothing much to it. I like some more complexity.

Black pour with a nice tan head. Nose is grainy, oatmeal, bread, chocolate and roasted malts. Flavor is sweet malts chocolate, sweet coffee, and bread like aromas. Body isnít as full bodied as I would like but has a really nice, rounded flavor. Good.

Pours dark brownish black with off white head, aroma has notes or roast, some slight bitter chocolate, lots of oatmeal, some toffee. Taste is slightly nutty, with notes of toffee, caramel, some oats, finishing slightly sweet and dry. Not bad.
