Aroma: Burnt coffee with dark chocolate. Nose is a tad shy and not very complex, but quite sumptuous. Appearance: Licorice-black with a slight tint of royal plum. Piddly, quivering head is tan with an amber tinge. Flavor: Chocolate, coffee, and dry roasted peanuts. Wow! Some graininess from the oatmeal adds an earthy sweetness. Very tasty, definitely a good beer to have for or serve with dessert. Palate: This should be much, much thicker. Itís got very little body to it, which makes the taste somewhat difficult to savor. Overall: Flavorful and easy to drink. I wish I had another!

Tap poured dark crimson brown with a beige head and nice lacing. Aromas of roasted malt, cocoa, caramel, chocolate, and oatmeal. Flavor is creamy delicious.

Sent to me by Strykzone. Pours h black with tan head. Nose of chocolate. Medium plus body. Flavor is a nice roast and the chocolate stays through the finish. Good beer.

Sampled from the tap at Winter Dabbler. Pours a deep brown with dark brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of roasetd malts, dark grains and a bit of earthy chocolate. Flavor is similar with roasted malts and dark grains as well as a bit of chocolate.

A bit sweet for myself but not undrinkable. A good dark pour with a light aroma. Drink again in a pinch

12 oz bottle. Pours black with red hues in the light with no head. Chocolate, ash tray and some acetaldehyde. Drinkable but pretty unpleasant.

Really this is that good. Perfect chocolate coffee taste and aroma. I could smell and taste this beer all day. Prefect mouthfeel for abv. Just perfect period. I would buy year round if near me. Purchased in bottle while in Wisconsin. Creamy sugar dark roast and mainly chocolate. Amazing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma does have chocolate and hazelnut. Taste is lacking a hard chocolate /cocoa flavoring. It is lighter than expected. Still not bad. Some vanilla, and the oatmeal was at the bottom of the bottle, so roll your bottle.

Bottle poured a clear dark reddish brown with a small lasting creamy tan head. Aromas of roasted malt and bakers cocoa. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of roasted malt, bakers cocoa and light earthiness with a smooth lingering bakers cocoa finish.

From notes. 12 oz bottle poured into a tulip glass. Nice dark brown/black color and light brown head. Aroma of chocolate, hint of coffee and roasted malts. This brew has tons of flavor and is very drinkable. This is something that can keep you company thru the evening. Well done.
