12oz bottle. Rating #179. Hazy golden orange pour with a small white head. Big pine and grapefruit aroma, slightly oxidized. Mild flavor, fruity and a little old. Ok stuff. (2172)

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a beautiful gold-orange with a small white head. Aroma is grapefruit & tangerine. Taste is grapefruit, but with a lot of pine bitterness that lingers in the finish.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Hops and a lot of yeast in the aroma. The flavor is hoppy up front, followed by a metallic edge. Not really bad but could be better without the metallic edge.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
On tap at Old Fashioned in Madison, pours a clear amber/orange with a thin white head, the aroma is of old hops and oranges, the flavor has notes of dirty water and what trash water would taste like, (not that Iíve tried that before) thin mouthfeel, just a huge miss for me.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Semi-murky orange pour with a small but foamy white head. Nice aroma of citrus hop. Medium palate. Taste is strange - thereís some citrus hop, but almost no malt or bread backing, so it tastes very bright and light. It has an initial hop bitter bite, but even that fades, and thereís a tinge of metal taste in there as well. Kind of disappointing taste given the nice aroma.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
This beer is really pretty decent, but still nothing much to it. I like some more complexity.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours amber with a good lasting head. lots of yeast floaters. Nose is some some caramel malts but a nice amount of grapefruit and flawery hops. Good hop flavor and aroma. Dry. a little heavy on carbonation but itís an ok IPA.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Well, not bad for Sand Creek, no offense. It lacks in the hop flavor and aroma. Very malty and it has a slight metallic aftertaste. Not a good ipa, but drinkable.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 7/20
12 oz bottle. Orange pour with tan head. Aroma has some light pine and earthy tones. Flavor seems heavily oxidized, paper and wet cardboard with a bit of malty background and some light citrus hop tones.

1.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
12oz bottle into a pint glass...There are so many things wrong with this beer I donít even know where to start. First of all who every thought a wheat ipa seemingly flavored with oak chips was a good idea, really needs to re-think things or try a new execution...The beer pours a super ugly light wood colored brown, totally murky, light tan head...The aroma is light giving off, wheat, wood and hops...The taste is so weird it almost shuts down your senses. You are attacked from so many sides, really harsh wood that tastes like they just dumped in chips, wheat, and a harsh bitter piney carbonated hop finish. Two sips was all I could make here.
This is a beer you should skip at all costs.
