Our very popular best selling cider. Bags of fruit and a truly satisfying cider bite delivered in a genuinely quaffable and light balanced cider. Our draught version of the Devon Red is seeing off some well known brands without any real struggle. Pester your landlord for some decent devon draught!

(From 50cL bottle @ home, Help Benzai to 10 sahti/gotlansdricke ticks tasting. Thanks for sharing, Benzai!)

Bottle shared with Martinus @ Help Benzai to 10 Sahti/Gotlandsdricke/Koduõlu - ticks tasting. Clear peach to golden color, virtually no head. Smell and taste are sweet, sweet very ripe apple, lightly sugar. Soft texture, lightly dry finish, smooth mouthfeel. I like it, it’s nice for a change.

Because everyone should do at least one beer review as a limerick:
A clear drink with apple-juice taste.
As I sniffed it, it spat in my face.
As sweet as a custard,
But a strange hint of mustard -
Prolly not from the bratwurst-cook’s space.
More sensibly:

Clear apple-juice look. The main aroma is sweet apple juice, and there’s a small hint of mustard (no, not from the nearby food stand). It spits in your face as you sniff it).
Mostly sparkling apple juice in the mouth too. Not much early finish. Has a good appley late finish, more sweet than dry (a bit too sweet, such that I ended up thinking of Jolly Ranchers hard candies).
Unusually, Phil did not have this.

Keg at Brewdog Edinburgh. Pours clear golden, thin ring of white head. Strong- sour cider-apple aromas, taste is chalky, bitter, light sour. Something oaky. Medium body, sticky finish. Enjoyed this a lot more than I expected to.

I really enjoyed that one. Especially its mixture of sweet and sour combined with some earthy apples in the aroma. Had that special something in its back to make me relax. Thumbs up.

Bottle from Ales by Mail. The cider has got a beautiful clear deep bronze colour with a medium body. Wonderful aroma of fresh and ripe apples with an light acid touch. Taste of green apples, leaves, unripe red apples, light honey and light caramel. Seems like a natural sweetness and not much added sugar. Mild and soft carbonation. Liked and enjoyed it, though I missed some body and deepness. Thin finish.
