Tall, competition swing top bottle labeled "Wild Pitch Hefeweizen", lightly roused, then poured to a Czech-pils glass with a hazed, light gold color, plenty of rising, effervescent bubbles, a bubbly, white head of foam that quickly diminished to a small ring and film, and left a modest amount of spots and streaks of lacing. The aroma was light yeast, light grain, ripe banana, and mellowed spice as clove. The flavor added to these a noticeable, but not overbearing sweetness. Lively carbonation and low hop bitterness combined to project a nice crispness. The body was light+, but not watery. Flavorfully sessionable!

On tap at Sandlot. Pours hazy golden-yellowish-orange with a small white head, basically looking like it should. The aroma is well-done if rather typical, with banana and clove notes, wheat, and fruity esters. The flavor is also standard wheaty banana and clove. A little on the sweeter side. Medium body and average carbonation. Really not bad for the style. If the BMC boys are going to do a "crafty" style well, this is probably going to be it I figure.

Banana fruit aroma. Golden coloured a little hazy in appearance and fruity with a little dryness in a crisp and creamy malt finish.

Draft @ Coors Field. Hazed golden appearance, finely-bubbled white head. Overall not a complex hefeweizen but basically contains no brewing plans, only suffering from a simple recipe. So, the minerally yeast esters with a touch of banana and clove is nice. Medium body with an enjoyable fizziness. Refreshing, simple summer drinker.

You know that you make beers appeal to the masses when you have to call it a "Banana-Clove" Heffeweizen. That’s what the bartender at the Sandlot called this beer before he served it to me. That’s like serving a "Piney-Citrus IPA".
It was probably the best beer I could get at the ballpark, so I wasn’t too dissapointed. There is definately a banana-clove flavor, more banana than clove. It was pretty easy to drink though, especially on a hot day.
