2.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
33 cl bottle @ Tampella
Aroma has rubbery notes, soy sauce and salty licorice, reminds me of Freigeist beers. Very sour and tart flavour with grapefruit, sour apples, lactic acid and plastic. Also some redcurrants, vinegar and balsamico. Quite undrinkable.

1.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
330 ml bottle, thanks rosenbergh. Pours a black colour with a small beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, soy sauce, alcohol and sourness. Flavour is very acidic with berries, roastiness, mild bitterness and gooseberry bush. Light bodied, thin mouthfeel and a strong acidic finish. Quite acrid and weird stout. Aroma was decent.

1.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
Pours dark brown, almost black with a tiny head. Aroma of roasted malts, vinegar, sourish notes and off-flavors. Taste is messy, slightly roasty and sourish with loads of vinegar and off-flavors. Finish is sweetish, messy and sourish. Something is clearly wrong here.

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
murky red-brown, thinnest white ring. Heavy lime nose, lightest roast elements. Ultra lime flavor, citric burns throughout the mouth, chest alight, no roast elements at all, slick and pure acid. Blech.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
Bottle: Poured a deep black color stout with a large dark brown foamy head with good retention and some light lacing. Aroma of sour notes is quiet strong with almost no roasted malt notes easily discernible. Taste is totally dominated by strong sour notes with roasted malt/coffee/chocolate notes almost indiscernible. Body is light with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Way too sour of the style or to be truly enjoyable drinking for that matter.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
330mL red wax bottle. Ah yes, the rare "0" for style imperial stout. Pours mostly flat, deep ink in color. Nose is nice smoke, dark cherry, savory rump roast. Taste is fully infected but all lactic and citric- like sucking on a lime. Really not bad at all, just incredibly sour. But surprisingly it is not acetic at all. Hated by our tasting group, but it really isnít that bad. Just no longer anything resembling an Imperial Stout.

375ml bottle pours an inky black with some spitty, beige head. Nose of rubber, smoke, vomit, butyric acid. Flavor is nasty, vomit, sweet tarts, toasted bread, pepper, lemon, vitamin C. Nasty finish. Woof.
