2.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Drank shit loads of this shitty beer while @ the amazing Radison in Freeport. $12 buckets of 6 cans poolside was 1/2 the price of water or pop.
Turned down a brewery tour but probably should have gone.
Crystal clear, no hops, some apple/acetaldehyde. I’m not sure if it was the acetaldehyde or the fact I drank about 12 of these before 2pm in the sun but I had a raging headache by 4pm. Probably dehydration but I’ll blame the acetaldehyde in the beer.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Jan. 27, 2016; multiple 11.5 oz. bottles sampled over a week in the Bahamas. Sands (as well as Sands Light) is the perfect example of a "When In Rome" beer. It will garner no awards in critical taste-testing against the best lagers in the world. However, you can drink a lot of this inoffensive brew without devastating results, and they are refreshing on a sunny island day.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
It pours light golden with minimal head. The aroma is heavy in the grassy hops with bits of floral and hints of malt. The flavor is dominated by grassy elements that are sweet with a mild bitter finish. It is light on the palate and easy drinking.

A little sweetness in the taste, but refreshing and good to drink at the beach.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle - from a clear bottle and thus the skunky aroma. Bright yellow with a small head. Has a taste of corn and plastic. Not all that great but then again the Bahamas is not exactly Beer Mecca so it is what it is.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 4/20
Very malty, yet skunky tasting and not at all what I expected. Pours pale with a decent amount of head. Would not drink again.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
355ml can. Probably best this was canned, as it was there was no skunk at all, which is odd for a Caribbean lager. Maybe even some hops. Malt was actually malty, not just corn or sugar. Overall, quite good for a macro lager.

Many thanks to kevnic2008 for sharing this can. Darker gold in the glass, the beer starts malty-sweetish. Very sweetish without deepness. Slightly bitter in the aftertaste, but that bitter aroma doesn’t fit in well. On the tongue stays a malty-bitter, sweetish and mild aroma. Unround.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 20/20
Not that fullbodied because of the hot temperatures in the Bahamas. Perfect drinkability on a hot beach day. Malt taste and less BU. Most people in the Bahamas like sweetness that’s maybe the reason why it’s not that bitter. All in all a great beach beer.
