Bottle from Hasegawa. Caramel, bread and light pine on the nose. Average carbonation with a light body. Caramel and light brown sugar on the palate. Sweet with some light grassy bitterness on the finish. Pretty forgettable.

An amber beer with an off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and spicy hops, leading to a bitter finish.

Hazy, brown colour and a thick tan head. Grassy aroma, some malts in the background. Bit of a dry taste, some yeast and a slight bitterness towards the end. Watery mouthfeel, not too heavy on the carbonation. It’s alright, overall. Not that impressive by any means but not too bad.

Bottle@yesprs - Gusher! Gushes golden orange with biiiiig white head. Aroma and taste is sweet malty, caramel, some herbal hoppy notes, but artificial sour medicinal taste over riding this for me.

Nutty, dark caramel, coffee beans. Rich toffee, plum, minty hops, dry finish. Not the usual SG hop bomb, but a flavorful and solid amber/brown ale

maekchu (3044) - Hirakata, JAPAN - JAN 26, 2014
Bottle from Asahiya. Thick, malty initial, with some citrus hop notes. Light copper/brown color. Slight harsh caramel initial / buttery and sweeter in mid / very light hop tracks in finish. Medium body. Overall, a bit rough for an amber. The aroma is fairly pleasant; the flavors are so so. Okay.
