Bottle at home. Golden colour with big white bubbly head. Aroma is slightly citrus, bit floury, biscuits too. Taste is initially quite sweet and citrussy, but few sips afterwards it becomes much more grainy, with a decent bitter finish. Still lots of fruit though. Slight bubblegum flavour in there too. Quite interesting.

Bottle (notes from sampling session). Sweet honeyish, fruity aroma. Grassy nose with some honey. Flavor is also sweet and fruity. Some good hops in the finish. And that finish does linger well. Sweet and malty stuff. Much better on tap than in the bottle, though.

Bottle. White fluffy head and had good lacing. Spicy hop on the nose. A big fruity flavour (mandarin) along with juicy malt, and a gentle bitterness.

Bottle. Pours a clear gold with small off-white hops. Strong hops in the aroma. Nice hop flavor with a bitter finish, that gets stronger with each sip. Medium body. A bit more bitter than I like, but not bad.

Honey citrus, butter aroma. Medium dark gold color. Flavor also honey butter with lots of hops and good citrus and other fruits. Very bitter finish. Exactly what I like in a golden ale: good light flavor, great hops. Could drink it all night.

For what reasons I’m not usre of, it took forever to get my hands on this beer. Pour is light copper-orange in color with a layer of an off-white head. Sweet malts, caramel, tropical fruits, and some floral notes round out the refreshing aroma. As it warms bready malts become much stronger, nearly overwhelming the rest of the aroma. Light, crisp body. Nice fruity flavor with caramel malts and a friendly hop bite in the finish. A solid ale that would be easily sessionable.

My Bottom Line:
This snappy Golden Ale’s spicy tropical fruit and crunchy wooden hoppiness happily thrives in a well-fed body. Although it may be shy for some, this would surely appease the craft beer lover’s thirst and even please those seeking a crisp pilsener.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A creamy head of foam dissolves into the clear golden.
-Citrus fruit and haystacks will always spell summer beer for me.
-The wooden hop bitterness stays long enough to seduce.
-The nose is rather shy compared to the flavor profile.

On tap at Kura Kura.
