Tasted @ GJBF Yokohama: Gold, light head and lacing. Nose of fresh malt and a blended pineapple note. Some clean fruit and malt flavors blend like sweet and sour. Good!

CANDY! Aroma of caramel, pineapple, honey, fruits, and sugar sweetness. Flavor was an inprovement. Pineapple, caramel malts, sugar, some more candied fruits. Finished with a suprisingly hoppy bitterness compared to the rest of the beer. If the rest of the beer had been like the finish this would be a lot better. Syrupy body. I didn’t think it was as bad as TimE did, but it still needs a bunch of work. Interesting.

Deep golden color. Pineapple and caramel candy in the nose. Caramel and pineapple mouth, which as you might guess doesn’t really work. A little sweet and syrupy, but overall flavors just don’t mesh.
