Tap at Watering Hole, Tokyo. Clear golden shade. Short head. Moves through some very interesting citrussy dimensions. Has a strong body, high carbonation and unfortunately isn’t the most drinkable. But the utilisation of fruit must be applauded.

2014 on tap at Watering Hole. Hazy golden orange color with a small off-white head. Really pleasant mikan aroma with a bit of iyokan and wheat as well. Citrusy and fruity on the tongue with some cinnamon and peppercorn present. Nice crisp and refreshing finish.

Bottle, had this last summer. It poured a clear gold with a thin fizzy head. The aroma was light oranges. The taste was solid, a citrus/orange fruitiness on a beer base, solidly done but nothing exceptional. Give it a shot if you see it, I think it’d do better as a summer seasonal than spring...

Bottle. This was a nicely-done fruit beer. The orange was fresh and powerful, but didn’t take over the entire beer. Great balance with hop bitterness. Medium body, fairly high carbonation. Complex yet smooth. A winner.

Tap at Watering Hole, Tokyo. Golden colour with a white head. Heavy lacing. Weak citrus, orange aroma. Flavour is fruity, vanilla, pear with a bit of spiciness.

UPDATED: JUL 3, 2013 Tap at the Watering Hole. Clear golden colour, small white head. Aroma is grainy, indistinct touch of fruit. Not massive odour. Taste is pleasantly fruity, but predominately wheat. Quite dry. Touch of tropical fruit in the background. Peach and orange. But main thing is the grain. Slight bitterness at the end. Quite nice, but not much to it. Feels maybe a little too fizzy.

Bottle. Cloudy, pale yellow colour. Very light aroma with some yeast and fruit. Soft mouthfeel and light carbonation. Taste is also very mild, light sweetness with some citrus. Refreshing beer but it doesn’t really appeal to my tastes.
