Tap at the Sankt Gallen beer garden at Tokyu Plaza, Omotesando. Dark brown black colour with golden creamy head. Aroma is predominately coffee but with a bit of sweet vanilla creaminess. Taste is similar but more vanilla than coffee. Coffee in the background. Quite smoky and roasty. Bit of chocolate and caramel too. I quite like these sankt gallen sweet beers. Quite full bodied but still easy to drink. Nice.

Tap at Watering Hole, Tokyo. Dark colour with a small beige head. Heavy aroma of coffee beans and some vanilla. Strong flavour of ungrounded coffee beans with hints of vanilla.

sweet malty, lots of coffee and vanilla with some dark chocolate notes. Malty. A touch sweet but never cloying . Nice vanilla finish. Coffee is fairly strong, but for me that worked.
