Bottle 50cl @ home.
Clear medium yellow orange color, with small body particles, with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, toasted, honey, sugar. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily - syrupy, carbonation is soft. (020708)

(bottle) Hazy, golden colour with loads of yeast particles swimming around and a fluffy, slightly yellow foamy head. Sweet malty, slightly hoppy and alcoholic nose with notes of marzipan. Sweet flavour, full bodied with a smooth carbonation. Strong, pale malty taste with notes of alcohol right from the beginning; strong malty finish with alcohol presence. Unbalanced Bock, but at least a warming one (18.04.07).

Tap, Bokbierfestival Utrecht. Clear golden color, short white head. Aroma of some hop, pils malt. Bit bitter taste, quite malty, slight alcohol. Like a strong german pilsener.

The way a Doppelbock should be. Orange-brown in color, bready, perfect balance of sweetness (definite taste of fig and honey) and dryness, no alcoholic aftertaste.
