COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It’s 1807 and Luís María Peralta is looking out the window of his small adobe house in Pueblo San José. Little could he have imagined that over 200 years later his home would still be standing.
Our Peralta Porter displays the same hearty character as this resilient landmark. Pouring earthen brown, this ale is built upon a light caramel foundation which firmly supports its chocolate and coffee flavors, finishing with a soft bitterness and earthy hoppiness we know you’ll enjoy.

Contract brewed at Hermitage Brewing Co. until 2015.

Quite respectable. It seemed more like a stout then a porter to me, but that’s no bad thing.

Pours a deep brown color with a chestnut, dark roast aroma. Taste is rich coffee, chocolate, and slight caramel. The flavor mixture of this beer is excellent. A well balanced complex flavored beer that was smooth and easy drinking. Flavor was consistent and was heightened as the beer warmed. Very enjoyable porter.

Is this named for Jake Peralta of "Brooklyn 99"? No? Bummer. Draft pours very dark brown color with a one-finger tan head. The aroma is roasty with chocolate and coffee. The flavor is nice and earthy, very balanced with both caramel as well as chocolate/roast. Nicely hopped. The body is medium-plus and carbonation is on the softer side. Surprisingly impressive. Would drink again.
