Honey. That’s all that’s quite ok with this one. Thin and tasteless and as good as no aroma. Poor.

Cunningham (4490) - Halden, NORWAY - JAN 21, 2014
Appearance: Ok pale nutty brown color with a finger thick tan head. Ok lacing.
Aroma: Wort and some spices.
Palate: Light + body. A bit sweet, and a mild bitterness. Average carbonation. Thin texture.
Taste: Wort malty, light spicy, butter and a mild fruity background.
Overall impression: I do not think Santa would have been to happy with this one. Drinkable…..
Personal stats: Bottle from Coop Prix in Halden, Norway

Lys i fargen, lite skum. Søtlig aroma av malt. Tynn konsistens, men greit alternativ dersom du kjører.

Medium white head. Faints quickly to leave what looks like an apple juice. Aroma is kind of detergent. Body is light and almost no bubble to ease the drinking. Difficult to tell what Santa has to do with it, may be the darker colour compared to a pils. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

33 cl brown bottle, bought at Eurospar. Pearl-white head, some lacings, medium amber-brown body, clear. Scents of sweet malts, grass. Tastes sweet malts, something grassy, a bit watery, and aftertaste is a bit abrupt, goes to the sweet side, just a little bitter underneath, more grainy. Overall quite drinkable, but no christmas spices, no real yuletide feeling.

Mørk gylden, klar med hvitt skum. Enkel maltaroma med noe sitrus. Mangler sødme og fylde, lett bitter. (Havnabakken, 02.12.13)

Bottle. Clear amber, decent froth. Sweet and spiced dough nose. Rather spicy, some hoppiness keeps the sweetness in check. Watery as expected. Having low expectations help, not the worst non-alcoholic beer I have tasted.

Lite skum. Svak duft av krydder. Litt ubestemmelig smak, noe malt og nøtter kanskje.

0.33l bottle. This is a crystal clear dark golden one with a small quickly islandy and bubbly off-white top. On the nose it’s wort-ish, sawdust and earthy potatoes that plays the violin. It’s gently carbonated and the mouthfeel is actually not as bad as I would have expected. Some resistance and mouthfeel. Flavors not horrible either. The usual suspects are present with sawdust, grains and wort, but it also has a slight peppery spiciness in the finish. A bit sweeter and it has more mouthfeel than the regular stuff. Christmas mood after drinking this? Fair, it’s the 19th Jan today, but I doubt it would have made any difference if Santa himself served this to me on Christmas eve. Dull but drinkable alternative for preggos is what I call this. 19.01.2013

Bottle in June(!) in Oslo from Joker. Okay. Not clear to me that this was Low Alcohol and was laughed at my Norwegian family. Dark golden body with big head. Nose is malty and grassy. Taste is plenty of malt, with some bitter, and dry. But missing ABV aplenty. Finish is too dry and sharp.
