COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A copper colored West Coast style Pale ale. A little hoppier than other American Style pale ales, this starts off with a little bite then allows the malt through just before the floral finish (from the hops). Made with all your favorite American Centennial and Cascade hops. Approx. 5.3% Alc/Vol.

Appearance: Cloudy amber orange with a huge off white bubbly head that dissipates very slowly. Smell: Piney hops, apricot and a little soap Taste: Starts slightly sweet, then pick up some malts and finishes bitter. I taste caramel and an astringent grapefruit at the finish. Mouthfeel: Relatively dry with moderate carbonation. Drinkability: The beer is not bad while you are drinking it but finishes with a very astringent bitter. I am wondering if I had a bad batch, the head was out of control and it had an astringent taste.

Bottle:   Vibrant amber, large fizzy off-white head, falls quickly leaving spotty lacing, moderate carbonation.   Pale malt nose, subtle hops, and a bit of that pixie stix powdery sugar aroma.   Very pale on the tongue.   Should be called 1/2 Pale Ale.   Hopes are minor to non-existant.   Comes across as an English example.   Decent malt backbone tho, however tiz a little mealy.   Very minor astringency.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate to light.   Spritzy finish.   A little flat after the finish, flavor drops off to nothing.   Really lacking in the hops department.

A good balance of hops and malts in the aroma. This looks a nice orange. Flavor is actually a bit malty for a pale ale, but it is balanced nicely. Pretty tasty beer.

Draft. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel as well as lighter notes of hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt - chewy combined with caramel, leading to a bitter finish.

Bomber pours hazy amber with copper edges and full frothy off white head. The aroma is tart with maybe a malt sweetness and some biscuit in the background and little else. The taste begins a bit sharp with tart citrus and then rolling into sweet malts, some caramel malts and mild nuttiness. This seem disjointed and a little off.

Can I get some beer with that head? Poured a cloudy copper color and had a head that was waaaaaaay too big. Even with all that head, there wasn’t much of an aroma. This one didn’t have much going on for taste either, It was a medium bitterness throughout, but didn’t really have much of anything else to balance it out, so it was bland to me. Can’t recommend this one, especially with so many other great california pales, and ipa’s out there.

This beer fucking sucks, I have nothing positive at all to say about it. But I guess this is growing up. Also it has a gigantic head that never subsides. Super shady.

Murky amber color with a thick white head. Musky dirty hop aroma with slight citrus notes. Overcarbonated. Weak hop flavor with an astringency that overpowers the malts.

On tap. Clear amber golden with a white head. Medium body, some caramel, a little fruit and a somewhat raw and unrefined hoppy finish. Unspectacular. 090709

From tap at the brewery. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Orange and mango fruity hoppy aroma. Light malt base and fruity hoppy flavoured. Bitter and fruity flavoured finish.
