CamdenD (570), Madrid, Spain Jul 7, 2008 Nicely bitter pale-lager-looking IPA. Some alcohol on the nose, nice, and lingering bitterness on the palate, but mostly unremarkable. I was optimistic after the smell, but in the end, this beer is just a lighter version of the APA, minus the fruit and plus a bit of bitterness.
tomthompson89 (1149), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jun 16, 2008 nice ipa good hoppy nose amber color, flavor has bitter and soapy hops with a great malt backbone to balance it out, not the best i have had but well done NM_BeerMan (7), USA does not count Apr 9, 2008 Definitely better than their Pale Ale. I like the slight spicyness of this IPA and it’s drinkably smooth. We ordered a keg for a friends party and it was the favorite beer there. Only available in their tasting room, so skip the restaurant portion and head straight to the brewery. SoylentBlack (99), Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA Aug 21, 2007 That’s a good IPA. Better than their regular pale ale. This one has a definite bite to it. Great looking head. On draft at Old Pecos Trail grill.
