5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
This ones a 5 for me. Aroma is just flawless. Perfect for an IPA. Itís fruity, piney, malty it has everything going for it. The color is just gorgeous. a nice dark orange copper with a perfect head. Taste is bitter, but sort of sweet in a good way with tons of hoppy bitterness. The cascade and amarillo shine through here along with the simcoe. This is just a perfect easy drinking delicious IPA from New Mexico. Digging this, will definitely be stocking up!

pours dark amber with a lasting white head and some lacing. bready aroma with some dark fruit, nuts and citrus notes. taste begins muted and hoppy and opens a bit later on with notes of cherry, roses, grapefruit and peach. finish has much more of the grapefruit character. Decent, balanced IPA.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
The writing on the can implies that this is more pleasant that wiping your ass w/ a pine cone. I wouldnít know about that but itís a pretty decent IPA. It is a red orange color w/ a long-lasting and fine bubbled head w/ streaky patches of lacing. Itís nose is of pine and mango w/ a bit of lemon and black tea. The malt character is pretty straight forwardly sweet and the texture is a bit on the heavy side for the style. It finishes w/ a lingering citrus rind bitterness and a bit of an astringent note. I donít know when this was canned but it expires on 10/09/2014 and I am trying it in the middle of July of the same year so this might perhaps be a little old but as this is, it shows decent balance and no off flavors but there is very little compelling about the flavor or aroma.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Drank from a cool-looking 12oz can at the Maplewood Let Them Eat Art street festival, thanks Jed! Intense American hoppy aromas and flavours: grapefruit, black currant, pine resin, ganja weed, red plums. Underlying maltbill was nice and grainy, hint of biscuit, honey, caramel. Nice alcoholic strength, round mouthfeel, medium-light body, citrus rind aftertaste enhancing the dry finish. An enjoyable hops-forward A-IPA. Delicious stuff, especially outside on a hot day. Itís pretty cool this kind of beer can be found in cans. Imagine the canoe trip!

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured from a 12oz can. Aroma is moderately malty with some cracker and a light caramel character. Moderate grapefruit notes with some light pine resin character. Light tropical fruit notes as well. Pours a slightly cloudy, light copper-orange with a big, fluffy, slightly off white head. Moderately high lacing With faint legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with some cracker malt character and light caramel notes. Medium bitterness with moderate hop flavors. Hop flavors of grapefruit and pine resin with a bit of stone fruit. Faint alcohol note in the finish and some lingering bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation with a bit of slick sweetness but no stickiness. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, an alright beer but a bit too much malt character and not enough hop flavor. Well balanced but not towards the dry, very hop forward character that I prefer. Not too sweet, but a bit sweeter than I prefer.

New Mexico tick courtesy of brew2or3. Pours clear amber, thin off white head that leaves thick lacing. Nose of piney hop resin. Taste follows, moderate bitterness. Mild caramel. Medium drying body. Decent ipa.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a clear amber with a sticky cream head. Aroma of pine, something burnt and light rose scent, burnt roses? Strong sweetness at first sip gives way to a drying bitterness. Caramel corn with pine sap. Enjoy this one quick, as it gets a bit warmer the sweetness intensifies and the burnt hop note comes out. That being said i dol like this beer. A solid ipa if drunk in less than 15 minutes from the fridge. And that is more than enough time for me.

2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Light aroma of citrus and pine. Taste is citrus and somewhat promising before degenerating into funky vegetal, earthy, metallic, and weak, with only lightly bitter hops. Very, very watery palate! Not a very good IPA by any accounts. Iíd only finish drinking this if really hot and thirsty. While not the most offensive or worst IPA around, I got a good batch of other beers in conjunction with this one, and I only had one can, so this became a drainpour.
