3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
355ml can. BB 03/10/15. Slightly hazed golden pour, huge foamy white head that sticks. Aroma is light with some herbal notes and mango. Flavor is dry and zippy, light bready malt, fruity hops, nothing over the top, very smooth and drinkable and not full-flavored but it helps the sessionability.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft at some BW3. Thick-looking brew, drinks with a heavy hand, but easy-going character. Tad too malty in the balance, but still a pretty good beer. I’d keep this in the fridge. (#5907, 10/28/2014)

Hazy, burnt orange with an off-white head. The aroma is mildly hoppy, mostly pine. It has a medium body with oily texture and average carbonation. The taste is bittersweet with a slightly more bitter finish.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: DEC 3, 2014 A decent IPA out of a can. Had a nice citrus aroma. It had a good pine/citrus taste. After filling my mouth with a good amount of the IPA, it tasted a little watered down when it came to the hops. Happy Camper seemed more like a Pale Ale than an IPA. It had a nice price. I would try it again.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
"Above average ipa, aromatic and flavorful, with big notes of pine and citrus (mainly orange and grapefruit). The malt used isn’t really anything special, and that makes this a good ipa instead of a great one."

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
From a can at local Smith’s. I’ve gradually gravitated to this local offering as my favorite IPA. Not as extreme as the high end west coast stuff but much more balanced. Fluffy white head on the pour revealing beautiful amber color and moderate carbonation. Piney hops nose and taste comes through loud and clear on the front and the back side balanced by a nice malty backbone and creamy texture. Not a particularly complex beer, but in the end, that’s what I like about it the most. Highly recommended!

[ Can ][ 12oz x 2 ][ Various Santa Fe Bars ][ $5 ][ Conical Pint ][ 9.5.14 ]
>> Awesome packaging. Hazy orange golden pour with large yellowish foam with great rocky retention and swathes of thicker lace. Nose is soy, muted, bitter lemon, orange peel. Taste is denser bodied, chewy, caramel, pine resin, orange peel. Quite bitter with sharp nutty bite and orange peel. As it warms, it gains some gristy notes in nose and taste.
