3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Light piney yet malt balanced aroma. Golden in color with a slight amber hue. Definitively hopped flavor with a nice malty underbody. This is one of the best "bang-for-your-buck" beers out there...well balanced, flavorful, moderately sessionable...a great IPA.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours a clear copper-golden color with a large, sudsy, quickly dissipating off white head. A pungent, clean piny, citrus bouquet wafts out of the glass as the beer is being poured, even several inches away from my nose. A texture that begins wet and mildly scrubby, but becomes more powdery about midway. Wonderful flavor of 50/50 pine and grapefruit. Perfect balance of malt without asserting itself. Really good IPA.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20
Phoenix can for a NM tick. Nice bronze-amber color with a foamy khaki head. Pretty bold aroma of green hops and also some caramel malt. Well balanced IPA; good bitterness but also a strong backbone so the hops donít steal the show. Surprisingly short finish; which I like because Iím not a huge fan of the long, lingering bitterness profile. Good.

In a can. Big orangey hops backed by caramel malts. Not complicated, just clean, excellent and enormously pleasant.

Can from Susanís fine wines. pours orange with a thin khaki head. Leaves a lot of lacing in the glass. has a bit of resin on the nose. Nice pine notes on the tongue with a soupcon of bitterness on the finish to clean things up. Solid!

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours darker suggesting the use of some roasted malts, malt-forward nose, a little mis-structured middle palate and finish. Just on okay APA.
