Very refreshing hefeweizen with pleasant banana aroma and taste. Spot on appearance for a hefe and a slightly bitter finish. Overall, I feel this is a very delicious beer.

Tap at brewpub may 2012-pours hazy orange with a very minimal head. nose is huge bubblegum-flavors of bubblegum and lite mushy grains. a little cleanup on this beer and it would do wonders. has lots of character-long banana and grains on the finish. if this beer was cleaned up a bit, it would be fantastic.

Bottle as shown. Pours a hazy yellow golden with a small off white head that quickly diminishes to nothing. The aroma is yeast clove and pepper. Thin mouthfeel with a strong yeast and earthy flavor with a spicy finish. A good German Hefe from Sante Fe.

12 ounce bottle that poured a light cloudy golden color with aromas of clove, banana, malt, and some wheat. Flavor is light citrus, clove, banana, and some spice. Real nice hefe, that I wouldn’t mind getting more of and drinking out by the grill.

Clear dark yellow with a fizzy white head. Light banana bread and clove aroma and taste with a bready finish.

Bottle at home after 2.5 hours straight at a test. Probably tasted a bit better after. Pour out of bottle with clear orange-yellow with thin quickly dissipating white head. Aroma brings sour notes of grain, some slight yeast, bread, hints of esters in there as well. Taste is some slight banana, clove notes, hints of biscuit, yeast notes that are pretty light, finishing fairly dry. Not the best, but drinkable.

Bottle @ home. A touch hazy, golden yellow appearance with a white head. Quite spicy, yeasty, clove, light banana, sweet wheat malty aroma. Clove, light banana, light citrus, spicy hoppy, wheat malty flavor. This really looks like they filter it despite the description, in which case this should be classified as a Kristallweizen. There are some yeast characteristics but they are mild.

bottle at Bubbles. It’s not a bad beer but it just feels more like a Belgian Wit. The nose has a lot of fruitiness. The tongue has lots of carbo and a fairly dry, slightly tart quality. It’s drinkable but it’s nowhere close to being a textbook hefe.

Draft @ brewpub. Hazy yellow, not much head. Sweet yeasty aroma has esters of orange. A dry entry leads to a brisk fruity middle and an off-dry finish. Nice refreshing palate.

Cloudy straw. Soft and marshmallowy banana aroma. Spritzy carbonation, cutting through a semi-sweet banana character. Has some acidity in the finish to provide additional dryness.
