This is the kind of beer that gives the word "stout" a reputation. Extra generous quantities of barley malt, followed by vigorous fermentation leaves this "imperial" heavy weight with 8% alcohol A.B.V. and a body as full as chocolate bread pudding. A complimentary and complex array of bitter notes comes form potent American hops, earthy British hops, black-roasted malts and, of course, coffee. Santa Fe Brewing Company uses only top-quality ingredients like organically grown East Timor coffee beans blended with New Guinea coffee beans, locally roasted by Oíhoriís Coffee House. Its heavenly flavor and aroma canít be beat or imitated.

12oz can poured into snifter. Dark and creamy, just what the doctor ordered. Oh did I mention the coffee? All over the place, unmistakable and super delicious.

Dark brown in color, clear with a thin head. Thick dark roasty malt with a big alcohol finish. This was a nice big beer.

Bottle shared by brew3crew. Pours brown with a small beige head. The aroma had roasted malts, mild coffee notes, ash, and a hint of brown sugar. The flavor had roasted malts, strong coffee, dark chocolate with some earthy hop bitterness to the finish. Decent stuff, very drinkable.

Can. Perfectly black body with a dense thivk light brown colored. Nose is nicely roasted coffee. Smooth toast. This tastes like prunes and dark chocolate. There is a little bit of burnt toast. Decent and light.

Imperial coffee stout in a can = sweet. Pours a dark brown with nice lasting beige head. The aroma roasted coffee and noticable coffee bitterness and earth. Taste was heavy roasted coffee, and big chocolately splashes. Good bitterness from the coffee with a peppery bit of a finish and just a tad sweet. Medium-bodied with light fizzy carbonation. Overall, really liked it, but it was pretty in your face coffee, but I like that sort of thing.
