COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is the kind of beer that gives the word "stout" a reputation. Extra generous quantities of barley malt, followed by vigorous fermentation leaves this "imperial" heavy weight with 8% alcohol A.B.V. and a body as full as chocolate bread pudding. A complimentary and complex array of bitter notes comes form potent American hops, earthy British hops, black-roasted malts and, of course, coffee. Santa Fe Brewing Company uses only top-quality ingredients like organically grown East Timor coffee beans blended with New Guinea coffee beans, locally roasted by Oíhoriís Coffee House. Its heavenly flavor and aroma canít be beat or imitated.

A pretty decent coffee stout, with basically the usual trappings of the style, though lacking the pungent coffee nose I really love. Since Iíve been drinking Bells Java recently, this is kinda lacking.

Very coffee with just the right amount of imperial bite. Almost expect grounds to be at the bottom of the can. Rich and dark.

It poured a dark brown color with a tan head. The aroma was of freshly ground coffee, chocolate, caramel and some spices. The taste was of bitter coffee with roasted malts and sweet sugared chocolate. Good stuff.

Pours a deep black with a small tan head. Aroma of smokiness, coffee, and some sweet malt. Taste of burnt coffee (not in a bad way tho), sugar, and some bread and vanilla. Seemed a little on the thin side, but quite a unique take on an imperial stout. Very enjoyable.

pours black with minimal head or lacing. metalic, damp woodchip and coffee aroma. body is thin for the style. taste has plenty of coffee with hints of other spices. There is an almost tannic dryness present in the finish. not a terrible beer by any stretch but this style has been done and far better than this.

On tap: The aroma consists of moderate chocolate and roasted coffee. Itís a dark brown with faint orange highlights and a small beige head that eventually fades to a thin ring around the edges of the glass. There is some thin webbing left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with moderate dark chocolate with a touch of molasses. He finish has light coffee/espresso with a hint of vanilla. Itís medium bodied with soft carbonation and mouthfeel.

Can shared by Pinkzambia nearly black light tan head. Plenty of coffee in the aroma and a nice spicy sweet roastiness. Some simar character of their "cigarette porter" nice sharp roast flavors with some sweetness as well. Fairly dry finish
