3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
It poured a dark red color with small white head. The aroma was of subtleness and sweetness. The taste was of caramel malt balanced by some slight hoppy bitterness. It had a medium body with a sticky mouthfeel and a slightly bitter finish. Not bad.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pour out of 12 oz can with little no white head, aroma brought notes of caramel, toffee, biscuit, some slight yeast and grassy notes. Taste is bready biscuit, some caramel, yeast, some slightly acidic grain with a pleasant earth, finishing fairly sweet but dried out. Like this, pretty solid for the style.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Strong malt aroma - some crystal and carared. Mouth feel is medium to full bodied but not heavy on the palate. Some crystal malt sweetness mixed with a hint of dark roasted coffee. Not a bad beer at all.

tap Aroma is sweet, of cream, sugar, and malt. Flavor features malt, candy sugar, toffee, and a strange skunkiness. Not terrible, but definitely on par with my (low) expectation
