COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Though it is not necessary to drink this beer out of a mug that is larger than your head while dancing to polka music and wearing your lederhosen, you will find this lager’s unbridled festivity difficult to resist. This ode to Germany’s classic fall lagers is as clean, clear, and quaffable as any that has ever weighed down the table of a German Beer garden. The crisp maltiness of classic Munich malt compounded with the delicious notes of Bavarian hops gives this clean-finishing beer just the right flavor for the end of the summer.

can. Rich copper color light body. A touch sweet, easy drinking yet has a bit of weight to it. It’s very pleasant. Nice carbonation, toasty, bread, buttery. Worth trying.

Pour out of can is orange-ish red with white head that fades a bit quick. Aroma brings sweet notes of caramel, biscuity bread, some slight earth and sweet fruit notes. Taste is a bit of caramel and biscuit, hints of grass, touch of earthy spice and some sweet biscuit notes come back, finishing fairly dry and slightly bitter. Not bad.

Can @ home. Clear, burnt orange appearance with an ivory head. Toasty, caramel, Munich malty, toffee, mild noble hoppy aroma that’s a touch spicy. Somewhat spicy, caramel/Munich malty, toffee flavor, somewhat light bodied for the style. Drinkable but disappointing.

pours a clear reddish orange color with small grey head. Aroma of wet leaves, some soft caramel. Flavor is the same, medium bodied, pretty true to the style but feels slightly lacking on the finish.

Can poured a clear orange amber with a lasting amber head. Aromas of toasted malt, fruittiness and light carmel. Palate was mediumbodied and crisp. Flavors of crmel, toated malt and light fruittiness with a crisp carmel finish.

Clear reddish-brown with a thin off-white head. Funky aroma seems to be a combination of roasted grains and resinous hops, but with a mysterious twang. This brew is smooth and easy to drink. The flavor has a woody note, along with some mild herbal bitterness, while the main player is a toasty sweetness. Overall a nice version of this style. Solid, yet uninspired.

12 oz can: Pours a light yellow with a nice white head. Aroma is slightly sweet but not overly malty. Aroma is doughy and bready. Palate is not very complex but taste is smooth and creamy. One of my favorite Oktoberfests.
