Commercial Description:
nything but a typical American Pale, Santa Fe Pale Ale is as full bodied as its most robust English counterparts, while asserting its American origin with a healthy nose resplendent with Cascade and Willamette hops. It finishes with a well-balanced combination of the subtle, almost Pilsner-like maltiness accentuated by the German yeast used to brew this Santa Fe classic, and a hop bite sufficient to leave a lingering smile on the face of any fan of American Pale Ales.

Water tastes metallic, like the beer is fermented in rusty steel drums. Flavor and Aroma are weak, like a slightly hopped macro lager. I am beginning to think that the best thing at Santa Fe Brewing Company is their concerts.

Bottle courtesy Gillard. Pours a slightly hazy copper with a one finger off-white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma of citrus and floral hops with sweet malt. Taste is the same as aroma. Medium mouthfeel with a moderate amount of bitterness. Good.

Courtsey of Gillard. Pours golden with a thin white head. Hoppy with sugary malt, both well balanced. Thick and easy to drink.

Light sweet malt aroma, almost corn-like. Fairly hazy, medium gold in color. Sweet, lager-like flavor, light peach and melons, with faint hints of berry and citric hops. Fairly creamy and full. Some creamed corn.
