COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Anything but a typical American Pale, Santa Fe Pale Ale is as full bodied as its most robust English counterparts, while asserting its American origin with a healthy nose resplendent with Cascade and Willamette hops. It finishes with a well-balanced combination of the subtle, almost Pilsner-like maltiness accentuated by the German yeast used to brew this Santa Fe classic, and a hop bite sufficient to leave a lingering smile on the face of any fan of American Pale Ales.

Bottle. Aroma is subtle. Toasted malts, caramel, and some barnyard notes. Pours a hazy amber hue with a white ring and minimal lacing. Taste is fruity initially with biscuit, caramel in the middle and a little citrus kick in the finish. Malt is very pronounced.Medium body and medium carbonation. Overall, a sub par pale ale. Just not worth another. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at taproom. Pours golden with a half inch of white foam. Not much on the nose. Maybe 2 or 3 hops died in the making of this beer but this tastes like mostly malt to me. Finishes clean. Itís not bad or undrinkable just not compelling.

12 oz bottle. (Midtown Liquor) Tulsa, OK.
Clear amber colour with a tiny white head. The aroma is floral hops, mild malty sweetness and honey... could it be? The flavour is pretty much the same. Well... itís definitely closer to an English Pale Ale than American Pale Ale even though itís quite strong. Itís drinkable but not that tasty. Too sweet to be honest. Some bitterness in the aftertaste.

Bottle pour. Dark brownish amber. Decent bite but too malty. Not terrible. Balance is ok ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I love IPAís but this is one of the worst ones I have ever had. There itís no structure to the beer and it leaves you with a bad palate. Avoid this beer!

This is an interesting pale in that is is a combination of an English style and an American style. The malt characteristics are very English and it is a good base. The hop profile is definitely American. I canít tell where the yeast comes from but it seems more English. I am not really a fan of mixing regions or countries, so I do not love this beer, but its not bad.

Full flavor pale ale, aroma is quite malty at the nose and finishes with floral, spruce-flavored hops. Hop bitterness builds throughout. More full bodied and malty than typical American pale ales.
