12 oz. bottle from a mixed six pack from Albertson’s in Taos. Pours a clear, bright orange-gold with a lasting cream-colored head. Aroma of soap, citrus peel, pale malts, pine resin, and straw. Flavor of pale and bready malts, straw, soap, metal, and dusty leaves. Light-bodied, with a mineral, metallic, stale mouthfeel and modest carbonation. Seems off.

More refreshing than your typical mainstream American beers. Its bitter, not harsh on my palate, & lighty has more flavor than the average beers out there. I can taste the yeast & malts. The yeast stands out more and gives it a pilsner flavor. Overall it’s good but not my cup of tea.

Sawdust nose. Clear amber, medium yellow head. Malt forward, with a light grassiness. Alcohol is evident. Balanced but tame. Finally, a New Mexico tick!

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Had on draft in Taos, NM at KTAO radio station bar. Poured into pint.
A: Pours a nice copper with firm white head. Great retention and solid lace down the glass.
S: Malt with some lager-like qualities to it. There are some bitter hops on the back end of the nose but nothing special.
T: Some bland citrus and a little malt, but nothing else in terms of flavor profile.
M: Light bodied with a crisp, clean and dry finish. No real discerning flavors left on the palate to entice me back for more though.
O: Pretty straight forward and average for the style. No real concrete flavors to separate it from any other pale ale.
Serving type: on-tap

Ordered a bottle from Doc Martin’s restaurant in Taos, New Mexico. Poured a golden copper color. Some lacing, not much. Aroma was light hops and some caramel malt. Flavor had some hop bitterness, but most of the flavor was malt. Overall a subpar pale ale.

Pour out of 12 oz bottle, hazy orange pour with white head, aroma had marmalade, orange, creamy biscuit, bread some caramel notes, slight toffee as well, touch of grass, grain in there as well. Taste is a mix of grape, biscuit, some slight earth, hints of white fruit but finishing a but short.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Taste and aftertaste are more bitter than most pale ales, but this is not a complaint. It's well balance with a crisp and clean palate. Spot on appearance and an almost sweet aroma that I can't put my finger on.
