jah noth (934), Rochester, New York, USA Jul 10, 2008 Light sweet malt aroma, almost corn-like. Fairly hazy, medium gold in color. Sweet, lager-like flavor, light peach and melons, with faint hints of berry and citric hops. Fairly creamy and full. Some creamed corn. CamdenD (557), Madrid, Spain Jul 7, 2008 Very middling APA, with little going for it other than it was cold and wet. Strangely sweet aftertaste and overly-fruity mouthfeel made this beer a little unquenchable for its style. McGarnigle (148), Rochester, New York, USA Jun 24, 2008 Bottle. Orange or copper, hazy, slightly off-white head. Light aroma. This is definitely low on bitterness by the standards of APAs. Instead, there’s biscuity malts and vague fruitiness (apricots?). Still refreshing. Sledge Jr (2693), Omaha, Nebraska, USA Jun 22, 2008 In the bottle from Beertopia. Pours a hazy light amber with a medium white head. Aroma is wheaty and has some tale-tell citrus to the nose. The flavor is huge grapefruit citrus hoppy. Lots of bitterness to this. A surprisingly pleasant and enjoyable pale ale. I’d drink this again. mmm///beer (470), Austin, Texas, USA Jun 20, 2008 12 oz. bottle served in lager glass at BB Rover’s on 6-19-08: Poured semi transturbulent off orange color, low carbonation, small white head formed with some lacing throughout the partaking of it. Aroma of cut grass, old wheat, and hops- kind of everywhere now that I think about it. Hits the mouth with a defined medium body, some sweetness in the mouth to start, then fades away to the hop presence which hangs for several minutes in your mouth if left uninterupted, finish is clean and has the previously stated hop character. Very nice, I liked it and will have again, but I’m in the minority here.
