MaliMisho (208), East Meadow, New York, USA Feb 8, 2008 If you can drink this beer in prison, I’ll go rob a beer store right now, because this beer was great. Black body, tan head, a great porter.

A dark brown beer with a red shine under a thin tan head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of over ripe fruits. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, bread, roasted malt, and burnt sugar, leading to a dry bitter finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing. Papsoe (11030), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 25, 2008 (Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of FlacoAlto. Pours a warm dark brown with a reddish hue and a dense light brown head leaving laces. Vinous aroma, vanilla and sweet malts. Medium body with a very soft mouthfeel, roasted malt and vanilla accents. Almost no bitterness in the finish but quite some alcohol. 201008 Grovlam (3312), Copenhagen, Denmark Oct 20, 2008 Bottle. [Tasting @ Papsoe 20-10-2008] Average brown creamy head that mostly lasted. Fair display of lacework. Dark mahogany color. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, roasted malt. Over the palate came sweet chocolate, mild roasted malt, hint of liquorish. Medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Moderated sweet flavor with light counter bitterness. Nice sweet chocolate like malty finish.
