Sparky27 (1567), Phoenix, Arizona, USA Jul 10, 2009 Bottle. Pours hazy light orange with a one finger snow white head. The nose is sour wheat and light citrus. The taste is wheat, grain and light lemon zest. Medium, semi-prickly mouthfeel. Kinda boring, but nothing offensive about it. Refreshing yardwork beer. unclemattie (2370), Georgia, USA Jun 15, 2009 12oz bottle. Clear golden yellow. Thin white head. Sweet wheat malt aroma. Heavenly floral hop aroma. Flavor is a bold wheat malt character. Dry and thirst quenching. Some lemon zest. Some banana. Just a touch of clove. Very well done. What I’d expect a Wheat Ale should build up to be. Very enjoyable. 23 may 09
ChainGangGuy (2523), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA Jun 11, 2009 Appearance: Lightly hazy, yellow body with a frothy, white head.
Smell: Very faint nose with only small notes of malted wheat, and even lesser touches of banana and spice.
Taste: Lightly tangy malted wheat taste with a fair amount of sweetness gives way to flavors of banana cream pie filling, light lemon, and even lighter spice. Subtly spicy, lightly bitter hops. A few more hints of banana cream, though more cream than banana and a dull, earthy spice accent. Smooth, drying finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium-low carbonation.
Drinkability: Reasonably decent, but it comes up waaay short in the nose. I was going to say it’s a treat to beat the Santa Fe heat, but at 65°F it’s cooler there than it is in Georgia. So, I guess it’s a decent wheat to indulge in on a fairly pleasant, lightly breezy Wednesday afternoon. milljam (562), Norman, Oklahoma, USA May 30, 2009 Basic wheat. Aroma of wheat with faint hints of citrus. Flavor is similar. Nothing to really distinguish it from other beers. kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA May 25, 2009

beerguy101 (3861), Newark, California, USA Apr 17, 2009 Sampled on 4/16/2009. This wheat ale pours a slightly cloudy light straw color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head, decent lacing. Aroma is wheaty and estery, touch or cereal. A light to medium bodied wheat ale. The malts are wheaty and cereal. The hops are slightly spicy and a touch earthy. Lively carbonation. Nice balance. Crisp and clean. A light and refreshing Wheat Ale. Nice summer session ale. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is crisp and clean. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. webbcreative (111), , Oklahoma, USA Feb 3, 2009 Hazy Yellow Pour, 2 finger head. smells bready. Taste is kinda acidic, like pineapple, and also has a bit of a tart apple taste to it. Little to much of the acidic fruits for me. it finishes really nice though. But up front is just too overpowering. And has no real value in my fridge. It doesn’t do anything for me whatsoever. The more I drink this the more I hate it.....that tartness is just too much jbrus (4835), Delft, Netherlands Feb 1, 2009 Bottle@Home. Lemon aroma mixed with wheat. Light hazy, pale yellow, white irregular head, fair lace. Sweet, light bitter, fruity, pineapple, hints of citrus and laurel. OK, but nothing interesting.
