Hazy gold pour with a fairly small white head. Not much happening beyond sweet, wheat and citrus but not bad at all.

Pours deep gold with no head and very little lacing. Notes of wheat and citrus. Balanced taste with a slightly acrid finish. Crisp.

In the bottle at the 2008 Crescent Moon Summer Beer Fest. Pours hazy gold with a large white head. Slightly sweet aroma. Nice clean wheat and lemon taste. If you search hard you can discern a slight banana ester but there’s not much of that. Pretty good on a hot day.

Bottle. Pours hazy light orange with a one finger snow white head. The nose is sour wheat and light citrus. The taste is wheat, grain and light lemon zest. Medium, semi-prickly mouthfeel. Kinda boring, but nothing offensive about it. Refreshing yardwork beer.

12oz bottle. Clear golden yellow. Thin white head. Sweet wheat malt aroma. Heavenly floral hop aroma. Flavor is a bold wheat malt character. Dry and thirst quenching. Some lemon zest. Some banana. Just a touch of clove. Very well done. What I’d expect a Wheat Ale should build up to be. Very enjoyable.

Appearance: Lightly hazy, yellow body with a frothy, white head. Smell: Very faint nose with only small notes of malted wheat, and even lesser touches of banana and spice. Taste: Lightly tangy malted wheat taste with a fair amount of sweetness gives way to flavors of banana cream pie filling, light lemon, and even lighter spice. Subtly spicy, lightly bitter hops. A few more hints of banana cream, though more cream than banana and a dull, earthy spice accent. Smooth, drying finish. Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium-low carbonation. Drinkability: Reasonably decent, but it comes up waaay short in the nose. I was going to say it’s a treat to beat the Santa Fe heat, but at 65°F it’s cooler there than it is in Georgia. So, I guess it’s a decent wheat to indulge in on a fairly pleasant, lightly breezy Wednesday afternoon.

Basic wheat. Aroma of wheat with faint hints of citrus. Flavor is similar. Nothing to really distinguish it from other beers.
