3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Labeled Devilís Ale, from the can, pours a clear amber with a nice white foamy head and solid lacing. Aroma is mostly of floral hops, some pine. Taste is florally hoppy, caramel, semi-sweet, smooth, easy, will make for a great camping beer.

On tap at the brewery for RBWG. Pours a dark copper color with a small white head. A nice sweet hoppy fruity nose. The flavor is smooth caramel and toasted malts, some nice PNW hops, light bitterness mostly fruit. Nice.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft@brewery. Pours a filtered clear lighter amber, the head after a while with just a thin film with thicker edges and leaving some sticky lace on the glass. Faint caramelly nose with some fruitiness to it as well. Clean enough beer, forward hoppines over a malt base that tries somewhat to balance the hoppiness. Your basic brew pub pale ale but remains fresh tasting and hop forward which probably sets it somewhat apart from the average, maybe. Nothing to remember.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Copper colored pour with a slight tangerine hue. Aroma is balanced between bittering hops and caramel malt. Similar flavor with nothing distinguished enough to speak to. Very average...about as mediocre as a beer could be.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours amber with off-white head and foamy lacing. Notes of pine with an underlying hint of caramel. Taste is crisp with more than a nod toward hoppy as there is a long, bitter finish.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: SEP 5, 2012 Draft. Dark bronze with a craggy head. Fruity citrusy aroma. Drinks with a stark tanginess. Almost a pucker factor. Wanting a bit more body. (#4059, 1/11/2011) <<Unknowingly re-rated from draft at the brewpub. My first note was very similar: lacked body. Tangy appley finish. Bit odd.>>

12 oz can from a trade with cbkschubert. Pours hazy light copper color with off white head. Aromas of pine and citrus with some caramel. Bitter grapefruit rind flavor with some caramel sweetness. Medium body with moderate carbonation. A really nice pale ale. Thanks Craig.
