On tap at SanTan, pours a clear copper amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out bready malt and light hop resins. Flavour brings out lots of toasted caramely bready malt and hop resins. Nice balance and quite robust. Solid.

Very smooth Amber. Easy to drink with a nice malty flavor that isn't overpowering. Another great effort by santan ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours an amber color with a sugar and caramel malt aroma. Taste is similar, with a sweet toffee flavor that leaves a minimal bitterness after the swallow.

Tap pour - translucent medium brown body with a thick whitish head. Aroma is sweet malt, caramel, roastiness...not much otherwise. Flavor is heavy on the roasted caramelized malts, very sweet, and very one-dimensional. Palate is medium carbonation. Not much to write on this one...quite boring, even for the style...

Pailhead (6385) - Plymouth, Michigan, USA - AUG 16, 2014
On tap: The aroma is lightly fruity with a touch of caramel and faint nuts. It’s a transparent amber with a small off-white head that quickly fades to a thin film outlined by a slightly thicker ring. The flavor starts with light-moderate fruit and a touch of caramel. The finish has light toasty notes and a touch of roasted nuts. It’s light bodied with mild carbonation.
