Mar 1, 2009 On tap. Hazy yellow orange with an average white head. Aroma of banana and cloves. Pretty typical hefweizen. Banana clove flavor. Pretty creamy mouthfeel.

Dec 20, 2008 Draft at the brewpub. Poured a hazy yellow/light orange color with a white head. Smelled of distinct banana candy. Light to medium bodied. Delicately sweet up front with a dry, grainy finish. Tasted of banana and minimal clove with a subdued lemony acidity. Not the best hefe.

Jun 30, 2008 hazy orange yellow with a small white head. big banana aroma followed by orange, spiciness, earth/wood and yeast. tastes like a banana milkshake... banana, vanilla cream and some spiciness combine with earth and savory dry yeast. medium body with a thick milky texture. rich and mildly bitter from the spice. this is one time the orange slice benefitted the beer... it’s sweet and tartness really balanced everything out.

Jan 20, 2008 Sample @ Brewery. No need to put this one to the nose and you can smell the banana and vanilla. Hazy Yellow body with white head. Banana flavor and vanilla in background not starchy or a lemon or orange slice needed for carbination. Good hefe thought this was best of five they had.
