COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
American Brewers have re-defined this traditional English Ale with an intense bitterness derived from the distinct citrus/pine character of Pacific Northwest hops. A dry, crisp malt character and aggressive alcohol make our I.P.A. a Hop-Heads Passion. 16.5°

Served cold, poured into IPA glass. Dark amber color with nice tan head. Lacing remained fairly consistent while drinking. One of the darker IPA's. Scents of lemon and grapefruit with some piney floral scents. Did not taste as much of the floral/fruit as I would have liked. Good bitterness on the back end. A great local brew, easy to take camping in the aluminum cans. Nothing spectacular but certainly a decent IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Golden amber with a modest head. Aroma is tropical with notes of pine. Not a great deal of citrus, but plenty of hop bitterness and flavor followed by a slight sweetness from the malt. A solid IPA.

Originally rated on 7/28/14. Pours deep orange hued body with a thick foamy head, good retention and lacing on the glass. Aroma is pine and citrus hops, with some malts sneaking in. Malty taste up front followed by a strong citrus, piney hops with a nice bitter aftertaste. Overall it was pretty good, not an upper tier but good.

Sweet, a little carmael aroma. Very dry and hoppy. Not much to say, average but good and easy to drink.
