12oz can pours with an opaque orange to copper body supporting a tall white head of foam. The aroma is straight up banana and cloves as well as apple and pear sweet fruity esters. The taste is similar where I get banana, cloves and vague sweet fruitiness. Meh, nothing really wrong here maybe me. Not diggin’ it. This might be a better experience trying to beat the heat this summer though.

Tap at brewpub and Can may 2013
Pours hazy dark orange hue with a fizzy white head with sparse lacing. looks like a hefe. Nose is pinneaple, lemon, grains, banana esters-quite nice! flavors show these aforementioned flavors however, there is quite a bit more grainy notes than expected. There is some clove along with the pineapple long into the finish. Body is crisp, slightly oily with spritzy carbonation. A great beer on a hot desert day!

12 fl oz / 355mL can into a Sam Adams glass. Served cold.
Aroma: Delicious crisp pineapple! Mildly sweet aroma. Subtle spice package backing it up.
Appearance: Slightly hazy dark yellow with a sudsy white head that lingers quite a bit.
Taste: BAM PINEAPPLE! Goes really, really well with that spice package. Delicious delicious delicious.
Palate: Crisp, refreshing. Pretty short finish. Light, but not watery. Definite character.
Overall: The perfect beer for hot summers here in AZ. Cans make it pool-lake friendly, so that’s a definite plus. Try it with a slice of pineapple! Fantastic!

For what it is and aspires to, a good beer. Surprisingly clear pour, with some tropical fruit smells wafting up. Good wheat-style taste, with fruity tropical flavors (presumably pineapple). Sweet lingering malt. Had this on tap last year, and this strikes me as the same as that. A good, lower ABV fun summer beer, with solid taste that is not as light as I was fearing.

Draft at Yard House and Ground Control. It seems to me that everyone who rates this from draft really likes it and the canned ratings are lower. Moral of the story: drink it on tap if you can find it. A nice base wheat ale that has buckets of pineapple in it. Real pineapple flavor and not like they just dumped a bunch of chemical flavoring into it. Very refreshing.

Can. Bright orange pour with a large white head. Smells like a saison. More bland on the taste. Good for the style.

Sample from a can at Total Wine beer tasting class on canned beers. Surprisingly good; I’d like to try more of this. I expected pineapple to overwhelm but I think it mixed well with the wheat style. Pineapple is present, of course, but seemed natural.

Drank from pilsner glass poured from can. Aroma - dead on with wheat and pineapple aroma. Appearance - murky golden orange with thick froth. Taste - sweet pineapple and wheat flavors. Fairly smooth. Palate - very bitter/sweet mouthfeel. Overall - pretty good. Probably will not buy again

Bottle; poured a dull, fairly dark gold. Aroma of pineapple, wheat, and flowers. Flavor had a nice bubblegum component, but it was all too subdued. Not sure the pineapple was a great addition, but it was not a bad beer overall.
