COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Mr Pineapple was conceived for SanTan Brewing Companyís annual Luau day here in Downtown Chandler. Fresh pineapple is added to our Wheat beer during fermentation to add a refreshing tropical flavor to an already sweet and fruity ale! The pineapple is balanced with a firm malt character and a slightly spiced hint of clove. Mr. Pineapple is highly carbonated to make it a quenching and refreshing ale for our warm Arizona climate.

Pint on tap. I agree with description, donít overcomplicate it! Itís pineapple beer! Served with a wedge of pineapple, aroma is slightly yeasty, taste has strong fruit character, definitely "tropical" -- I wish they served it in the bahamas. Really not too bad, hits the mark definitely more than misses it. Well done.

Mr. Mister pours a hazy light orange. Sweet fruit notes hit the nose. Pineapple is there as is, strangely, banana. It has a very smoothie-esque consistency and taste to it. I was expecting more wheat and a brighter fruit taste but on the flip side, I was worried that the pineapple juice would totally overwhelm the proceedings. Neither happened and I was kinda disappointed with the the more Radler effects that seemed to take over. More wheat and a little more carbonation would have made this better for me.

Hazy yellow. Mixed sweet, malty and grainy aromas with a light Pineapple scent. Subtle taste of pine cones with and cloud of malts through the drink.

Wheat beer pours with little to no head. A bit cloudy. Pineapple strong on the aroma but not overwhelming on the palate. Pretty balanced when cold a little too sweet when it warms up. Great summer beer for a hot day. Your girlfriend will like it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I didnít like this beer 2 years ago. It wasnít good at all last year. It is REALLY good this year. Man, that is like a carbonated pineapple juice. Mr. Pineapple makes for the perfect summer beer. Cheers to the team at SanTan Brewing.

Reviewed from notes. From my AZ trip. The appearance had a hazy golden yellow color. For a bar pour, thereís a one finger white foamy head that dies within about a minute and some adequate super light clingy lacing that graces the sides of the glass nicely. The smell had the pineapple up front exactly as the name suggests with a decent amount of wheat opening up the aroma to make a Summery sort of sunshiney refreshing smell. The taste was sweet through the pineapple and wheat; refreshing sort of sticky pineapple wheat aftertaste, sweet watery yet refreshing sort of finish. On the palate, it sat about a light to medium in body, tries to be sessionable but the carbonation leads to a heavier quality for an American Pale Wheat. Overall, for the most part I would have this again, nothing wrong with it but thereís nothing over the top either, if anything the pineapple does taste and smell authentic, so San Tan did what they wanted to.

Crisp and refreshing, The pineapple is very apparent in the nose, but not too overwhelming on the palate, great on a hot day!

This one poured a cloudy bright yellow with a white head. Aroma was of wheat, lighgt grass and pineapple juice, Flavor was similar, grainy and mainly a mild wheat beer, with small pineapple hints. Drinkable but not great.

Pours a orange gold with a thin white head. Aroma of sweet pineapple, wheat and citrus. Taste is pineapple, wheat, biscuit, almost a lager yeast flavor going on. Quite sweet, nothing too exciting but cool to try

Can:   Straw colored, dirty, hazy, thin to moderate sudsy white head, spotty lacing.   Wheaty nose, very faint clove, slight tropical fruitiness.   Spritzy on the tongue, a little grassy/mealy up front, almost moreso than wheaty.   Slightly dry and wheaty towards the back.   A slight touch of what seems like star fruit, despite it being pineapple?   Lets just say a bit tropical.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Not as wheaty as others, a bit more fruity however.   Backside is lingering mealiness, some straw/hay, with a dry tropical fruit tinge.   Tiz okay, but a little too carbonated and not as hefty as other wheats.   The tropical fruit aspect is interesting, but not sweet enough to make it worth it, in my opinion.
