COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Mr Pineapple was conceived for SanTan Brewing Company’s annual Luau day here in Downtown Chandler. Fresh pineapple is added to our Wheat beer during fermentation to add a refreshing tropical flavor to an already sweet and fruity ale! The pineapple is balanced with a firm malt character and a slightly spiced hint of clove. Mr. Pineapple is highly carbonated to make it a quenching and refreshing ale for our warm Arizona climate.

Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, wheat and pineapple. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

Can. It pours a clear, golden body and a dense, white head. The aroma is pretty strange, with tropical fruits, sweetish pale malts, pine cones and some pineapple. The flavor has a distinct pineapple touch, well, not just a touch actually. Pale malts sweetness, generic tropical fruits, pine cones and a little bitterness too. Medium body, quite effervescent and dry. Pineapple and bitterness in the finish. Rather boring this one, but at least sort of interesting. 130819

12oz can in a tulip. Pours amber with a lacy, off-white head. Aroma of pineapple, some wheat and pale malts, and light bitterness. Flavor the same. Average texture. A refreshing beer, but not the best.

Oddly, a peanutty aroma. Clear, medium-light gold. Twangy, unfinished and chemical Fizzy. Meh. O.H.S.O. Eatery & NanoBrewery, on tap.

Can from sprouts in Tucson AZ. Pours yellow with a light bodied white head. Pineapple smell dominates. This is probably my new favorite summer beer. I like to put it in the freezer to get it extra cold for some extra refreshment. It won’t blow you away but it is definitely refreshing.

Medium yellow. Small white head. Wheat, some spice, and pineapple juice. Delicious, thirst quenching, and great in the AZ sun. Sweet, a bit sticky, a bit creamy. Enjoyed one of their better offerings at the brew pub, as well as floating in a tube down the Salt River.

12oz can pours a clear deep gold with some cloudy, white head. The aroma when cold was fruity and malty. Once it warmed it was just huge ripe pineapple, clove, candy sugar. Smells like a weak tripel. Flavor is the same, tons of fruit, ripe pineapple, guava candy, yeasty, some malt, some papaya, very juicy. Smooth, fruity finish. Ambitious and definitely not boring.

Tap at OHSO nano. Clear orange amber pour with an okay head. Nose is stickier candies. Taste is dried pineapple, pineapple upside down cake. Decent, some juicy acid in the finish. Verging on too sweet.
