Mr Pineapple was conceived for SanTan Brewing Company’s annual Luau day here in Downtown Chandler. Fresh pineapple is added to our Wheat beer during fermentation to add a refreshing tropical flavor to an already sweet and fruity ale! The pineapple is balanced with a firm malt character and a slightly spiced hint of clove. Mr. Pineapple is highly carbonated to make it a quenching and refreshing ale for our warm Arizona climate.

On tap at Tommy Bahamas in Scottsdale. This is a great hot summer day beer clean crisp and refreshing finish. No need to add any additional fruit it has it all built in. Some he as can be bitter but this one is not. Great compliment to seafood.

Appearance was hazy orangish gold with creamy off white diminishing 1 finger head, no lacing. Aromas are pineapple, citrus with hints of wheat and pale malt. Taste are lemon, pineapple upfront then wheat, pils sweetness coming thru mid swallow. Fruity estery slightly drying yeasty finish. Palate was soft CO2 with light body, an average length Belgian style finish. Overall a easy drinking fruity brew, great lawnmower beer.

Draft. Pour a clear, golden color with a thin white head. Light, malty aroma with some pineapple lingering, but not much. Some citrus in the flavor. Wheaty as well. But nothing much in this brew.

Pour on tap at OHSO, hazy golden pour with white head, aroma brought notes of bread, white fruit, some caramel, fruity notes into a hint of pineapple, slight spice. Taste was a mix of spice, pineapple, red fruits into a bit of cake, some vanilla, touch of biscuit, finishing fairly sweet, slightly spicy.

Bottle shared poured a slightly cloudy orange color with a white head. Aroma is malt and wheat and pineapple juice. The flavor is a solid wheat flavor up front and way way way back you get the pineapple almost totally separated. Ok but not great like the previous rater said a college girl beer.

Draft at Barrel Republic. Pours hazy gold with a smooth, thick white head. Tastes like fresh pineapple, citrus hops, doughy malt. Light/mesium body and low carbonation. Smells like fresh pineapple, fruity, citrus hops, and light wheat.

Can. Pineapple juice and wheat malt aroma. Golden yellow with giant head. Sweet pineapple juice, banana, and wheat malt flavor. Light hay finish. Pretty good for a fruit wheat beer.

Can: Pours slightly hazy, buttery-gold with a tall, off-white head. Wheat, banana, pineapple aroma. Flavour is sweet, wheat malt, banana, a touch of clove, pineapple syrup/juice.... Pretty good, though the pineapple isn’t as pronounced as I had hoped.

Can. Cloudy golden orange pour, with an off white head. Sweet, pineapple juice, wheat, and a bit of clove. Not something I would drink.
