Crisp and refreshing, The pineapple is very apparent in the nose, but not too overwhelming on the palate, great on a hot day!

For what it is and aspires to, a good beer. Surprisingly clear pour, with some tropical fruit smells wafting up. Good wheat-style taste, with fruity tropical flavors (presumably pineapple). Sweet lingering malt. Had this on tap last year, and this strikes me as the same as that. A good, lower ABV fun summer beer, with solid taste that is not as light as I was fearing.

On tap at Tommy Bahamas in Scottsdale. This is a great hot summer day beer clean crisp and refreshing finish. No need to add any additional fruit it has it all built in. Some he as can be bitter but this one is not. Great compliment to seafood.

Pours a nice hazy straw golden color with white head. Pineapple, wheat, and tropical light fruits on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with a pineapplely raw wheat note. Nice.

UPDATED: AUG 15, 2013 Sample from a can at Total Wine beer tasting class on canned beers. Surprisingly good; I?d like to try more of this. I expected pineapple to overwhelm but I think it mixed well with the wheat style. Pineapple is present, of course, but seemed natural. Update: had a can of this (poured into a glass); enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I have mixed feelings about fruit beers but this is refreshing. A friend had a can and said he could barely finish it but I rather liked it. Probably Wouldn?t want more than one in a sitting, however. Update: I had a can poured into a glass. Iím a fan. San Tan is becoming my favorite AZ brewery.

12 fl oz / 355mL can into a Sam Adams glass. Served cold.
Aroma: Delicious crisp pineapple! Mildly sweet aroma. Subtle spice package backing it up.
Appearance: Slightly hazy dark yellow with a sudsy white head that lingers quite a bit.
Taste: BAM PINEAPPLE! Goes really, really well with that spice package. Delicious delicious delicious.
Palate: Crisp, refreshing. Pretty short finish. Light, but not watery. Definite character.
Overall: The perfect beer for hot summers here in AZ. Cans make it pool-lake friendly, so thatís a definite plus. Try it with a slice of pineapple! Fantastic!

I didnít like this beer 2 years ago. It wasnít good at all last year. It is REALLY good this year. Man, that is like a carbonated pineapple juice. Mr. Pineapple makes for the perfect summer beer. Cheers to the team at SanTan Brewing.

Tap at T&P. Pours a cloudy golden orange color with a light head. Aroma is wheat, light fruit and tart notes. Very tingly over the palate. Nice pineapple flavor balances well here. Sweet finish. Good.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cloudy golden with large pollowy white head. Dusty hop aromas, maybe Czech, Belgian yeast, fruit esters, apple, phenols, a touch of clove, pineapple, creamy and spritzy texture. A bit high in alcohol for session but thirst quenching. With high acidity for rapid absorption. Pretty and nice on a hot day.

Draft at Yard House and Ground Control. It seems to me that everyone who rates this from draft really likes it and the canned ratings are lower. Moral of the story: drink it on tap if you can find it. A nice base wheat ale that has buckets of pineapple in it. Real pineapple flavor and not like they just dumped a bunch of chemical flavoring into it. Very refreshing.
