Draft at the source, courtesy of one of the servers who dropped it off as he passed by, thanks! Clear deep amber brown color, tan head. Aroma of chocolate and nutella. Taste is smooth nutty cocoa. Nice.

Head leaves lacing which is probabley the only great thing about this beer. However, smooth taste & decent price makes a go to for get togethers

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Very dark with a cream colored head. Aroma of chocolate, roast, and maybe a little spice. Fairly pedestrian roasted malt taste with a bit of cocoa. Light-medium bodied; slick. OK.

Can from the store. Nose is cold, not much of anything. Taste is a luscious chocolate bomb that makes me want to jump up and yell hallelujah! Much fudge and cocoa. Really good but tends to be a bit too sweet and sugary without balance. Can’t drink a whole Juan.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz can. Pours a chocolate brown color and topped by a small head of tan colored foam that quickly settles to the body below. The aroma showed notes of both milk and dark chocolate with a hint of roast and a toasted caramel malt base. The flavor follows with the milk and dark chocolate up front balanced out by light roast and the toasted caramel malts. Medium bodied with average carbonation that leads to a smooth cocoa finish. Thin on the body for a porter with nothing else really standing out. Could definitely use more roast and bitterness to balance out the sweetness. Decent.

Dark pour, thin head, little carbonation. Sweet chocolate, smooth, more like a brown ale. Drinkable but underwhelming.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a slightly translucent dark brown in the glass. Slight cocoa and burnt bread crust aroma. More dark cocoa and chocolate malt flavors as i sip it. Finishes light and effervescent in the mouth. Overall, one solid beer! Will purchase again!
