12oz can, thanks to mikedR. My can is labeled as 6.9% ABV. Dark but clear-still brown color. Good thin lighter brown head, of a thicker but bubbly quality. Leaves good, thick lace. Good chocolate malt nose. Medium to bigger body. Dry texture. Moderate carbonation, but decent chewiness to the body. Noticable earthy hop. Mostly bitter taste, little sweet. Fine chocolate porter overall. I’d like a little more creaminess in the body, less hop, and more chocolate though

Was not a real fan of this Porter. Has a decent malty roasted flavor. This porter has a slighty sweet earthy aroma. Pours black with a little lacing left on the glass.

Roasty aroma, a little chocolate, molasses, a tad bitter. taste is similar. Starts more roasty but quickly turns to a more bitter, sweet taste. Chocolate, a little cream.

12/13/14. 12oz can thanks to JBVatkeens. Deep brown pour under a small tan head that fades, mild lacing. Mild chocolate aroma, biscuity, mild roast, a touch of acidity, not bad. Nice flavor, chocolate, acidity, biscuity, touches of caramel. Not bad!

Front came through and stopped my nose all up so rating may not be exactly fair. Anyways this is a dark brown almost black brew with decent tan head but it only held about half way then there was nothing but a lace around the edge of the glass. From what I could smell it is chocolate malts. Taste was loaded with chocolate malt and some hint of caramel candies. Pretty good brew. Would like to get another six pack when I can breathe and see if it is better. Only found this in cans, major disapointment.

Choclatey nutty taste, sweet chocolatey aroma with plenty of roasted barley on both ends. High Alcohol content is very well masked. A delicious, nourishing porter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pour is a dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is slightly chocolaty and not much more than that. Flavor is again a marginal chocolate and kinda a minor roast. For being called a double chocolate porter this is not very chocolaty. This beer had a great name but kinda a let down after that.
