2L growler pouring at The Bruery Reserve Society tasting. Low haze orange pour with rich foam and great retention. Nose is catty, bright hops with lemon and potpourri. Gamey melon like mango and jackfruit come through. Taste is soft, bright melon, potpourri, quenching and rich butterscotch. Rich palate with pine sap, forest, grapefruit peel, and hop resin balanced by butterscotch and cream. Fantastic. A new brewing prodigy it seems.

Tap half pour $3 super delicious IPAis awful golden color that has a honey translucent appearance. This is good stuff. The boquet is a hop heads dream. The freshness of the beers that they produce is amazing. Flavor is big big hops and bitterness that sticks to the tongue. Awesome chewy grain in the flavor. Fabulous.

On tap at brewery in tulip and later that evening from growler in pint glass. Sllightly cloudy yellow gold. Brewery pour had all kinds of weird stuff going on nose from expected dankness to gasoline and red clay dustiness....not particularly pleasing but though provoking. Grapefruit pith finish on a pretty solid malt core, with more dustiness and cobwebs. Growler pour had none of this weirdness, and was just a nice pretty straightforward West Coast IPA.

A - pours light golden orange with a ring of big bubbles. S - this is a very musty earthy ipa. Dank wet hops, mouldering citrus peel and juice, pine resin and a nice malts character. M - medium body with a lightly slick feel to a dry end. A good Bitter hop centric ipa. T - Earthy dank hops lead the taste. Musty orange peel and tart juice, pine resin are capped by a nice malt backbone. O - bitter but quite drinkable. 3.8

Hazy golden color. Musky hop aroma and grain malt. Bitter flavor, some of that muskiness present plus citrus hops. Dry, leaves a mineral aftertaste.

(Growler) Pours a clear yellow body with a moderate white head. Aroma of grapefruit, pineapple, weed, grass, and herbs. Flavor of caramel, grain, grass, grapefruit, and pine with a dry, bitter finish.

Growler, courtesy of joet. Thanks, Joe! Man, this was nice. Pours a bright, lightly hazy golden-orange color; web-like white head with foamy lacing. Citrusy pith and floral notes in the aroma, along with a bit of peach/apricot and warming alcohol; lean, orange-inclined, and reminiscent of things like scaled-down (forgive me, but every one at the table agreed once I put it out there) Pliny the Younger (when itís at its leanest and more orange-forward); Sculpin would be another comparison and offers a similar profile, to me. Great stuff, is what Iím getting at. Firm citrus and orange bitterness from the get go, medium to medium-high body, medium fine-bubbled CO2; man, after one acclimatizes to the bitterness, this is especially lovely: orange, peach, grapefruit pith; just a delicious, layered, lean bitterness with ripe stone fruit and lively CO2. Lasting citrus bitterness in the finish.
