On draught at the brewery. Earth, forest floor and fruit marry well on the aroma. Pours a hazy orange wih white head of large bubbles leaving a dusting across the top. Puckering citrus blends with solid malt backbone for an easy drinking IPA. Moderate bitterness and semi-dry finish. Slightly thin mouthfeel overall.

On draft at the brewery and then some from a growler later. It pours a golden orange color with a white head. The aroma has some tropical fruit and grassy notes with hints of honey and toffee, but not sweet. The flavor is dry and grassy with some bitter citrus rind. Light bodied with lower carbonation on the draft sample I had. The growler was more fully carbed for some odd reason. I actually liked it better from the growler. Nice light, dry hoppy beer with big flavor.

By growler from Mario. Medium full aroma, herbaceous, cocoas, mint, citrus. What a combination - this is creative, new and good. Perfect dry to slightly off dry. Sharp in feel with a touch of astringency. Medium low effervescence. More carbonation may have turned this into a more aromatic superstar? I don’t know. A very nice show and interesting aesthetic.

Tap. Pours hazy golden amber with a small white head, bubbly. Dissipated quickly with some lacing. Very nice aroma, grapefruit, tropical fruit, pine, touchof cat piss. Flavor is about the same, light sweet and medium bitter. Medium body, oily tongue coating mouthfeel. Very nice.

UPDATED: AUG 2, 2013 Rerate: Had this beer a few more times over the months. Each time I pick up less and less of the grassy flavors that turned me off before. There is definitely a huge bitter punch of the mouth that was more muted before. Aroma incredibly dank with lots of pine, flowers and weed smell. Love it. Pours an unfiltered hazy golden color with soapy white head that dissipates slowly. Nice lacing, small legs. Taste is piny, earthy, light crackery, dank dank dank finish. Finish is bitter, light astringency, but balanced by the body.

Orange pour with a white head. Big time pine and floral hop aromas. Nice grapefruit notes to it as well. Some bread and mild caramel aroma, but overall, fairly dry and minimal malt influence. Big orange and grapefruit citrus notes along with plenty of pine to add bitterness. A very nice floral quality, mild malt sweetness, and a dry, bitter finish.

On tap at brewery. Hazy dark golden with a fizzy white head. Nice earthy and grain aroma with strong pine and citrus hops on the nose. Good thick chewy palate. Tasted of caramel, grapefruit, and pine with a moderate bitterness. Good, solid, straight up west coast IPA. Well done.

Incredible hop aroma, hazy appearance, light in color. Bitterness is firm but not overwhelming, with a crisp and dry finish. A very good West Coast style IPA.

Growler shared by David (I think). Pours with a hazy golden hued body with a white head. Aromas are herbal with tropical fruit, lots of high co-humulone hops, grassy, estery. Flavors are grassy, grainy, herbal, slightly aggressive, resin, pungent. Low malt, mostly hops. Lively carbonation, dry. Good.

Hazy, dark yellow.. Saison looking.. Fresh, fresh, fresh.. Herbaceous, piney, citrus rind, and tangerine dominated aromas and flavors.. Delicate honeyed malt counterbalance rounding out mid-palate and finish, though unabashedly fresh hop dominated. Love the fresh hop layers!! West Coast style all the way! Blind Pig lookout!!! --- tasted while on a long journey to understand the world around me...
