Tasted from draft. Pours black with off white head. Aroma is coffee, vanilla, chocolate. Flavor is moderately bitter. Flavors similar to aroma with a nice rye flavor as well. Very well done Porter but their vanilla Joe is better. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: JUL 30, 2016 Not getting a lot of Belgian character here, but as a robust porter, it really does it’s job well. Roasted malt and light sweetness - perhaps a touch of fruit from the yeast and just a whisper of spice.
