On tap at Ratebeer Gallery III. Pours ds rk gold with a frothy white head. Aroma has an acidic grapefruit mustiness plus a nice resinous leafiness. Flavor bursts with grapefruit and pineapple, delves toward weedy dank resin, flushes with a delicate vanilla maltiness, then finishes pithy and bitter. Maybe their best hoppy beer.

Half pour at the brewery – reviewed from notes. Aroma has light tropical fruit like mango and passion fruit, but heavy on the pine and citrus: grapefruit rinds, slightly herbal, hop spice, weeds and maybe even slightly catty as it warmed up. It is a pretty crazy resinous, danky aroma that almost felt like it could burn my nose hairs off. The beer pours cloudy light orange with sporadic bubble patches around the top of the liquid. Eventually they settled out to small ring around the sides. Taste has moderate sweet grain, light straw and dough at first and then you are immediately smacked in the face with grapefruit, tangerine, passion fruit and mango. The fruit character is short before turning into a very resinous bite. The hop oils are strong on this one and completely coats the mouth with drying bitterness. The body is surprisingly thin compared to other hoppy Sante beers. Light body that doesn’t really support the huge danky flavors, with medium-high carbonation and drying finish. The aftertaste has moderate bitterness and light astringency and medium alcohol warmth. Overall a pretty huge DIPA with a nice farmhouse/rustic grain component. Although the body is pretty light, the finish is dry and crisp.

Tap at RateBeer Gallery III. Pours very hazy gold with a white head. Rather fruity aroma. Med body. Flavor is reasonably dank - with a little sweet fruit. Mostly dry and quite hoppy. Tasty too.

On tap at Ratebeer Gallery 3. Pours murky blonde with a tiny off-white head and a strong citrus aroma. There is a medium-bodied bitter hoppy flavor I mean seriously bitter.

Tap at sante. Slightly hazy orange copper color. Base of tropical fruits with some cat urine tang. Nice bitterness, resinous and metallic at turns. Leaves the mouth dry. Enjoyable brew on balance, but i like the start more than the finish.

A- pours a super hazy neon gold with a thin and clingy white sudsy head with large bubbles. Great lacing. S- wonderful grapefruit. Decadent pine and Douglas fir bough. Lemon and other citrus notes. Soap and melted butter. Salt air. M- medium sticky body with a tangy and bitter medium palate. Decent carbonation. T- starts with a lemon that builds, and malt flavor. More wet pine notes and bitter orange pith. Sun tea and jasmine start to arrive in the middle with grapefruit and a sourdough. End is long, dry and bitter with lingering notes of grapefruit, mango, fir forest, straw and some late soapiness. Very pleasant and perfect for the first day of Spring.

Very hazy golden orange. Mediocre head. Forms and fades. Very big simcoe nose with a touch of the big Cs. Citra, chinook. It’s a grapefruit pine cone mix and it’s pretty glorious. Taste is nice. Rind and raw like sinking your teeth into a hearty fruit salad. The cereal and cornbread and super heavy malt backbone. Not quite mineral mouthfeel. Actually a slightly sweet finish.

On tap at the brewery. Aroma has a light, sweet graininess. Moderately strong hop aroma with grapefruit, tropical fruit, peach and a light dankness. Faint t alcohol spice. Pours a pale, cloudy golden orange with a small white head that recedes to a thin film that lingers. Moderate lacing and small legs. Flavor is similar to the aroma with a light graininess and a big hop flavor with a fairly strong bitterness. Moderate grapefruit and tangerine with lighter tropical and stone fruit. Medium light dankness and resin to balance all the fruit notes. Light alcohol spice in the finish. Mouthfeel is medium full bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and medium low alcohol warmth. Overall a pretty nice DIPA that is well balanced and fairly dry while retaining some sweetness. I wouldn’t complain though if there was more hop aroma and flavor.
