Poured from a growler filled at the brewery. This is an outstanding saison, it poured yellow with a good half inch head that it held for a while. Thin mouthfeel, medium sweetness. This is a very fruity saison, it has a big mango note and taste to it. this drinks like a thinner bodied fantome saison. very impressive.

Rea;;y nice low abv saison. Bright and rustic, grainy flavor and aroma and each shines through. Ever so slight farmhouse character.

1L swing top go snifter (shared with Ben, Sarah, and the Mrs; thanks bytemesis). Looks good; a transparent gold with white head and lively carbonation. Smells semi-sweet and yeasty, but well-balanced. Tastes like it smells with a touch of honey and clove-like spice on the back end. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied. A good saison.

Growler... Pours clear and yellow with a tiny, creamy, white head. Decent retention. The aroma is grainy and spicy with a rumor of lemon peel. Medium to full-bodied with soft carbonation. The flavor features spicy grains and a light, phenolic spiciness and a whisper of acidity. Crisp, lightly spicy, refreshingly dry finish. Bottle courtesy of biggsbowler!

Draft at SARA. Hazy bright gold pour, small ring of bubbles, one single cell of lace clinging to the glass. Aroma: not tart. Spicy (like "rye spice" mixed with clove). Gentle toasted wheat. Light citrus. Simple, rustic. Reasonably dry, light-to-moderate bitterness. Texture is ... soft. Soft and gentle. My impressions of this are more tactile/visual I suppose. The softness is a nice counterpoint to the starkness of the aroma/taste. Lightly tart flavors in the end as well. This is growing on me nicely over the course of this glass.

Served on tap at SARA. Hazy orange color with a medium white head that dissipated quickly. Lemon wheat orange aroma. Medium body with carbonated mouth feel. Citrus floral and little grainy. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
