[2/13/15] Draught at Sante Adairius Rustic Ales in Capitola. Hazy shiny yellow. Fruity esters aroma with yeast, some phenolic spiciness and a rye note. Dry flavor with faint sweetness, some graininess, fruity esters and spiciness that’s getting stronger in the finish. Medium-bodied.

Your standard saison. Nice crisp nose. Decent funk. Nothing special just a solid saison.

Growler from SARA. Pretty much everything I look for in a low-octane saison. Big time fresh grains on the nose. Taste introduces saison yeast notes and a touch of old-world style hops. Dry, fruity finish with light banana and a clean tartness on the finish. Mouthfeel is perfection. BRB, looking for a house in Capitola.

Draft at SARA with Linh. Pours a bright orange body with white lacing. Aroma is spicy yeast, flowers, earthy barn, wheat and grain. Mouthfeel is medium to light with nice minerality on the palate and notes of grains, yeast, light fruit, grapefruit, bready, banana and malt.
